Spoiler - You probably won't recognize the mod after the update, everything will be changed, only the name and concept will remain.

Create artillery mod adds to minecraft :

• 2 cannons : 122mm a-15 , 152mm d-1
• 5 different shells : HE shell, Explosive shell, Armor piercing shell, Smoke shell , Impulse shell
• Compress block (ingradient)
• Lava printer (to make cannons)

Crafts:

• gunpowder mass - mixing: white wool , gunpowder
• gunpowder pillow - press gunpowder mass
• Compress block crafting - automate packing : sturdy sheet, brass block, presistion mechanism, andesite alloy block
• Lava printer crafting - aplicate blast furnance with compress block
• Shell craft -  sequence aplication : 3 times aplicate brass sheet and 1 gunpowder pillow , and 1 of fillings
• 122mm craft- up to 12 compress and up to 12000mb lava in Lava printer (depends of blueprints, check mechanics) (crafting time ~2min)
• 152mm craft- craft soon, but u can find it in creative
• Clear blueprint - mixing : paper and blue dye
• Blueprints - craft with blueprint table : clear blueprint and white dye + (10/20/30 xp lvls)
• Check another crafts with JEI

Mechanics:

• right click on cannon with Wrench to change cannon angle
• right click on cannon to open it
• right click on openned cannon with one of filled shells to charge
• right click on charged cannon to shoot
• to craft cannon in lava printer u need to place 4 blueprints in Lava printer , 1 Breech , 1 Tube , 1 Support, 1 Crater, Big blueprint - increases value of necessary compresses to 3, Medium - 2 , Small - 1
• to build cannon u need 3 or more compresses
