CBC Cryo-Cannon
Turn Create Big Cannons into a cryogenic artillery system and freeze the Spore uprising solid.
So you've got a fungal infection problem. The Spore is spreading. Your conventional cannons are doing… okay. But what if you could load a cannon with pure freezing death and watch the infection shatter like a frozen lake in spring?
That's what CBC Cryo-Cannon does.
It's a full cryogenic artillery expansion for Create Big Cannons. Ice-powered cannon components, self-propelled shells that need no gunpowder, automated loading with Create SU, and impacts that leave the ground snow-covered and the Spore freeze burnt.
Build it. Load it. Freeze everything.

Build a Cannon That Runs on Ice
Forget gunpowder. Forget fuzes. Forget squib chances and propellant math. Cryo-Cannons are a different beast entirely.
You'll craft a functional cannon from Cryo-Breeches, Cryo Cannon Chambers, Cryo Cannon Barrels, Cryolite Shells, Cryo-Feeders, and Cryo-Hoses. The minimum build is one breech, two chambers, and two barrels — but here's the fun part: the cannon's shape actually matters. More chambers mean more velocity. More barrels mean tighter spread. Longer assemblies mean deadlier accuracy. And mounted cannons keep their Cryo-Feeder connection while rotating and pitching, so you can absolutely slap these on moving contraptions. Stationary artillery or a rolling frost-fortress — your call.
Cryolite Shells: No Powder, No Fuze, All Impact
Cryolite Shells are the heart of the system, and they break every rule you know about CBC ammunition. They need no gunpowder, no fuze, and they don't contribute to cannon weight. They're not limited by normal propellant strength, they ignore squib chance entirely, and they vanish after their first genuine impact.
On impact, they unleash a freezing detonation: direct damage, a small explosion radius, a cleansing radius, and a hefty dose of Cryo-Freezing with Slowness II. The ground gets dusted with snow, and the whole show is wrapped in blue soul-fire muzzle flashes and projectile trails. It looks cold. It feels cold. It is cold.
And here's the best part: Cryo-Cannon failures are non-destructive. No explosions. No shrapnel. No terrain damage. Just snow, sound, and a sad little particle effect telling you something went wrong. Your base is safe.
Cleanse the Spore. Save the World.
This is why you're here, isn't it?
Cryolite Shell impacts tear through Fungal Infection: Spore content. Depending on your config, an impact can convert infected blocks into cleaned counterparts, process documented C.D.U. conversion pairs, affect biomass-family blocks and related Spore materials, and destroy organite in the process — all while leaving a visible snowy crater behind.
Tune the cleanse radius however you want. Precision strikes on small outbreaks, or full artillery barrages to reclaim entire regions. The Spore doesn't stand a chance.
Automate Everything with Cryo-Feeders
Manual loading is for people who don't have Create.
The Cryo-Feeder is a Create-powered automated loading block with nine Cryolite Shell slots, one ice-canister fuel slot, rotational power support, comparator output, and Create goggles info. Drop in your shells, slot an spore:ice_canister, give it a spin, and watch it work. By default, one canister supplies 24,000 fuel, each shell load consumes 1,000 fuel, loading takes 120 ticks, and the feeder needs at least 32 RPM with a 16 stress impact. RPM-based reload scaling can be enabled in the server config.
And it's smart: fuel and ammo are only consumed after CBC accepts the shell. Failed loads cost you nothing.
Connect It All with Cryo-Hoses
Grab a Create wrench. Link your feeder to your breech. Select the feeder's lower connector, select the breech's upper connector, and keep them within link range. Done.
The Cryo-Hose stays visible between them — and yes, it follows your breech as the cannon rotates and pitches. Mounted cannons stay fed. Stationary feeders keep loading even when they're off-screen. Broken links clean themselves up automatically, and you get clear feedback for every mistake: invalid selections, excessive distance, duplicate links, self-links — the system tells you what's wrong.
Configure It for Your Server
The mod generates a server config file called cbc_cryo_cannon-server.toml. You can tweak just about everything: impact damage, explosion and cleansing radii, freezing duration, canister fuel capacity, fuel per shot, feeder reload time, minimum RPM, stress impact, RPM-based scaling, and maximum hose length. Compact survival cannon or sprawling automated artillery installation.
