About

Description

A tiny Create addon that closes one of the mod's longest-standing gaps: you still can't automate netherrack.**

Bulk Haunt teaches Create's haunting recipe how to turn the Nether's most abundant overworld export — **Blackstone** — back into **Netherrack**. No new blocks, no new items, no new mechanics to learn. If you can build a fan-over-soul-fire setup, you can run a netherrack farm.

## What it adds

Two recipes, registered in Create's `haunting` category:

| Input | Output |
|---|---|
| `minecraft:blackstone` | `minecraft:netherrack` |
| `minecraft:polished_blackstone` | `minecraft:netherrack` |

That's it. The "bulk" in the name isn't a new machine — it's the natural consequence of using Create's existing infrastructure. A wide encased fan blowing through soul fire over a long belt will haunt as many blackstone blocks per second as your contraption can carry.

## Why it exists

Players on r/CreateMod have asked for automated netherrack for years. The mod's design philosophy treats the Nether as a source for blaze rods, soul soil, and crimson wood — but raw netherrack itself is a tedious manual chore. Bulk Haunt fixes that without altering vanilla Nether mining: trade Blackstone (cheap, easily farmed via cobblestone haunting) for Netherrack on the way back to the overworld.

## How to use

1. Build a Create haunting setup: **encased fan** blowing **downward** through **soul fire** or a **soul campfire**, with a **belt** running underneath.
2. Drop Blackstone or Polished Blackstone onto the belt.
3. Netherrack comes out the other side.

Throughput scales with belt width and fan length — same as every other Create haunting recipe.

## Compatibility

- **Minecraft:** 1.20.1
- **Forge:** 47.0+
- **Create:** 0.5.1+ (required)
- **Flywheel:** required transitively by Create

Bulk Haunt uses Forge's `lowcodefml` loader. It contains no compiled Java code — just recipe JSONs — so it cannot crash your client or your server. The worst it can do is fail to load if Create isn't installed.
