Create: Chemistry Mod
No reviews yet
A chemistry addon for Create mod. Mix elements, trigger real chemical reactions, cause explosions, craft dynamite, handle radiation, and build electrical systems. Currently in Beta.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
Create: Chemistry is a chemistry-themed addon for the Create mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.
Important: this mod is currently in Beta. Features may change.
Create: Chemistry adds chemical elements, compounds, reactions, hazardous materials, experimental machines, explosives, and basic electrical systems to Minecraft. The mod is designed to feel both scientific and chaotic: some reactions are useful, some are dangerous, and some can turn a small mistake into a chain explosion.
Main features:
- Chemical elements such as Sodium, Potassium, Lithium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur, Carbon, Phosphorus, Uranium, Plutonium, Thorium, and more
- Chemical compounds including Sodium Hydroxide, Thermite Mix, Bleach, Hydrochloric Acid, Chlorine Gas, Gunpowder Mix, and others
- Custom fluids including Hydrogen Peroxide, Sulfuric Acid, and Potassium Iodide Solution
- Water reactions for reactive elements
- Rain-triggered reactions with visible warning effects
- Splash water potion reactions
- Chain reactions between nearby reactive materials
- Thermite ignition with extreme heat and lava
- Elephant Toothpaste reaction
- Phosphorus ignition in air
- Magnesium flash that blinds nearby entities
- Several types of dynamite with different effects
- Radiation mechanics with exposure buildup and contaminated zones
- Dosimeter for measuring radiation
- Rubber Gloves for protection from dangerous materials
- Lithium batteries, Energy Bank, and Electric Motor
- Processing machines: Chemical Mixer, Electrolyzer, Centrifuge, and Distiller
- Uranium weapons with radiation effects
- Uranium ore world generation
- JEI support
- English and Russian localization
- In-game Chemistry Tablet guide
Dynamite types include:
- Sodium Dynamite
- Potassium Dynamite
- Lithium Dynamite
- Calcium Dynamite
- Uranium Dynamite
Each type behaves differently. Some cause fire, some create smoke, and Uranium Dynamite can leave behind dangerous radiation zones.
The machine system currently includes:
- Chemical Mixer for reactions and compound creation
- Electrolyzer for splitting materials
- Centrifuge for separating ores and resources
- Distiller for heat-based processing
The radiation system is one of the core hazard mechanics in the mod. Carrying radioactive materials without protection can slowly harm the player, and some explosions can contaminate an area for a long time. The Dosimeter helps track danger, while Rubber Gloves offer limited protection.
This mod is still in Beta, which means:
- some mechanics may be rebalanced
- some features are still experimental
- visuals and textures may be improved later
- more chemistry content is planned
Dependencies:
- Minecraft Forge 1.20.1
- Create
Optional:
- JEI for recipe viewing
If you enjoy science-themed mods, dangerous experiments, reactive materials, and Create-style automation, Create: Chemistry aims to bring all of that together.
Please remember that this is a Beta release. Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are very welcome.
