Create Fly: Steam 'n' Rails (Unofficial Port)

Unofficial Port of Create: Steam 'n' Rails by The Railways Team. All credit for the mod goes to the original authors.

Expands Create's trains with extra track gauges, dozens of bogeys, working couplers, semaphores, buffers, conductors and a huge locometal build palette.

Track and gauges

More than one width of railway:

• Narrow and wide gauge beside
• Monorail track
• Track in every vanilla wood, plus blackstone, ender and tieless
• Tieless track has no hitbox until you case it
• Andesite switches throw by hand, redstone or an arrow
• Brass switches throw themselves toward the route a train asks for

Bogeys and trains

Pick wheels that suit the train:

• Over 30 bogey styles in the bogey menu
• Single axle up to comically large
• Matching sets for narrow and wide gauge
• Handcar you pedal yourself

Couplers and headstocks

Split and join trains without disassembling them:

• Track Coupler couples and decouples, by wrench or redstone
• Headstocks in any wood, dyeable, or copycat
• Knuckle, split knuckle, screwlink and link 'n pin styles to dress the ends

Signals and buffers

Stop a train before it runs out of rail:

• Semaphores sit above a signal and show its state
• Track Buffers end a line, and a train leaves room for one
• Buffers fit narrow, wide and monorail
• Small and Big Buffers are dyeable props, for yards and sidings
• Cap how many trains a station will accept

Conductors

Crew your railway:

• Conductor's caps in all 16 colors
• Conductors press buttons and pull levers when you look at them
• Bind a whistle and use it on a station to summon its train
• Remote Lens to see through as a conductor
• Vents make ducts a conductor can travel through
• Paint brush and pitchers for recoloring

Locometal decoration

A full build palette in 32 colors:

• Boilers, smokeboxes, pillars, vents and flywheels
• Doors, trapdoors, windows and ladders
• Six smokestack styles, with brass, copper and steel caps
• Hazard stripes and chevrons

Known Issues

• No in-game config screen, use config folder
