Create Kinetic is an addon for Create Aeronautics that adds many quality-of-life and useful content, designed to stay in-line with create and minecraft in general.

Features (Aeronautics 1.21.1)

This mod aims to serve as an addon for create Aeronautics, Adding the features that are missing or could be improved, while adding Minimal bloat!

Joystick

Control your ships with mouse movement! If placed near a typewriter, you can control a joystick and typewriter at the same time!

Reaction Wheel

A flywheel that when spun fast, helps keep contraptions upright

Thrusters

Various forms of thrusters, from electrical powered, to fuel powered, and in vector variants, allowing thrust in a range of directions.

Treads

Belt treads, allows your vehicle to drive with style, Place a mechanical belt over your tracks and dye them any color.

Analog Gearshift

Acts like a directional gearshift, but analog signal determines the speed at which the resulting shaft spins.

Beam Lantern

A lamp that propagates light upwards or downwards at any Y-level! Use this block to illuminate your factories without needing to place lamps on the floor!

Redstone blocks

  • redstone conjuctor (A compact AND block for redstone)
  • redstone inverter (Compact, single block analog signal inversion)
  • redstone crossroads (A compact way to cross redstone signals)

A few of the current features

Frequency filter

Connect redstone links without colliding signals with other links! No longer worry about 2 frequencies being the same as can be the case with the traditional method of setting a 2 item frequency on a redstone link

Retractable Sails / Sail pulleys!

The game introduces retractable sails and sail pulleys, Unloose your sails to move your ship along.

The sail pulley is another type of retractable sail that allows for building a mast out of blocks.

Ship totems!

If your ship runs away, just use this to bring it back. You must have the totem renamed to the name of your ship

How to use the ship totem:

  1. Obtain it (craft it)
  2. rename it using ship totem command
  3. Click the totem to bring your ship back

New commands:

  • ship this command
  • ship rename command
  • ship freeze / ship unfreeze command
  • vs deletemassles and vs total (OP only)

Ship Helms

Steer your ship effortlessley, available in various wood types. The ship helm is designed to be an easy way to steer a VS ship without the need for a redstone controller.

Anchor,Buoys and Ballast

An anchor will stop your ship if powered by redstone. Make your ship float easier, or use a ballast to weight it down.

Rudder

Use a horizontal rudder to steer, or a vertical rudder to go up/down

Tank Ballast

Use redstone or water to increase/decrease ballast weight
