Create: Lavaworks

Create: Lavaworks is a small addon for Create: Metallurgy that adds an immersive, fully automatable way to turn cobblestone into lava using Create and Create: Metallurgy machinery.

Instead of converting cobblestone directly into lava with a single simple recipe, Lavaworks introduces a multi-stage industrial production chain built around crushing, washing, compacting, and melting stone.

Production Process

1. Grinding
Cobblestone is first processed in the Belt Grinder from Create: Metallurgy, turning it into Stone Dust.

1 Cobblestone → 1 Stone Dust

2. Washing
The Stone Dust is then washed using a Create Encased Fan blowing through water, producing Washed Stone Dust.

1 Stone Dust → 1 Washed Stone Dust

3. Compacting
Four pieces of Washed Stone Dust are combined in a Basin and compressed with a Mechanical Press, forming a dense Mineral Briquette.

4 Washed Stone Dust → 1 Mineral Briquette

4. Melting
Finally, the Mineral Briquette is placed inside a Create: Metallurgy Foundry Basin with a closed Foundry Lid and heated from below using a lit Blaze Burner.

After the briquette is fully melted, it produces:

1 Mineral Briquette → 1000 mB of Lava

That means the complete production chain is:

4 Cobblestone → 4 Stone Dust → 4 Washed Stone Dust → 1 Mineral Briquette → 1 Bucket of Lava

The entire process can be automated using Create belts, funnels, pipes, pumps, tanks, and other logistics systems, allowing you to build a proper industrial lava production facility instead of relying on dripstone farms or constantly searching for lava pools.

Lavaworks does not add new machines or world generation. It is designed to expand the existing Create and Create: Metallurgy progression by giving their machinery a new practical production chain.
