Create: Portable Fluid Tanks

Create: Portable Fluid Tanks adds portable, reusable fluid containers designed to work naturally with the automation systems from Create.

Store large amounts of fluid in an item, move tanks through Create logistics, fill them using Spouts or dedicated machinery, empty them into pipe networks, and automate the entire process with Funnels and Mechanical Arms.

Portable Fluid Tanks

There are four upgradeable tank tiers:

Portable Fluid Tanks can store normal NeoForge-compatible fluids, including fluids added by other mods.

Filled tanks retain their fluid and amount when upgraded. For example, upgrading a Copper Portable Fluid Tank containing 4,000 mB will produce a Gold Portable Fluid Tank containing 4,000 / 16,000 mB.

Tank Filler

The Tank Filler provides an automated way to fill Portable Fluid Tanks.

It supports:

• Create fluid pipes and Mechanical Pumps
• Funnels
• Mechanical Arms
• Hoppers and item automation
• Adjustable fill targets
• 100 mB target increments
• Persistent ON/OFF control
• Automatic processing of tank stacks

Set the desired amount, switch the machine on, and it will fill each tank to the configured level.

For example, a Diamond Portable Fluid Tank can be configured to stop at:

20,000 / 32,000 mB

Funnels and Mechanical Arms will not remove the tank until it has reached the configured fill target.

Tank Emptier

The Tank Emptier works in the opposite direction, allowing fluid to be extracted from Portable Fluid Tanks into a Create pipe network.

It supports:

• Create pipes and Mechanical Pumps
• Funnels
• Mechanical Arms
• Adjustable remaining-fluid targets
• 100 mB increments
• Persistent ON/OFF control
• Automatic tank output

Instead of choosing how much to remove, the Emptier lets you choose how much fluid should remain in the tank.

For example:

Leave in Tank: 2,500 mB

A tank containing 16,000 mB will be drained until 2,500 mB remains and will then become available for automated output.

Create Integration

Portable Fluid Tanks are designed to fit into Create automation rather than acting as standalone inventory items.

They can be used with:

• Mechanical Pumps
• Funnels
• Mechanical Arms
• Hoppers
• Create logistics systems

This makes them useful for automated fuel delivery, remote fluid transport, factory logistics, aircraft refueling systems, and other Create contraptions.
