Description
Create: Scrapless Netherite
Make Netherite Ingots with a Create production line, with no Ancient Debris and no Netherite Scrap.
This is a small data-only mod. It adds one sequenced assembly recipe and nothing else.
Recommended:
JEI
How it works
Start with a Brass Ingot and run it through this line:
- Deployer: Crying Obsidian
- Mechanical Press
- Spout: Lava (500 mB)
- Deployer: Brass Sheet
- Mechanical Press
- Deployer: Crying Obsidian
- Mechanical Press
Result
| Output | Chance |
|---|---|
| Netherite Ingot | 15% |
| Powdered Obsidian | 85% |
Every run uses up its ingredients. A failed run gives you Powdered Obsidian instead.
Cost per run
- 1 Brass Ingot
- 1 Brass Sheet
- 2 Crying Obsidian
- 500 mB Lava
Tips
- Always start the Brass Ingot under the first deployer. If it goes under a press first, it just becomes a Brass Sheet.
- While it's in progress, the item looks like a Precision Mechanism. That's normal.
- You'll need Create's brass production (zinc and copper) before you can use this.
- Crying Obsidian comes from ruined portals and piglin bartering, so stock up before you build.
- Automate it with belts, funnels and a few chests. That's what the recipe is designed for.
- You can see the recipe in JEI on the Recipe Sequence tab for Netherite Ingot.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1 or newer
- Create 6.0 or newer
FAQ
Does it replace the vanilla recipe?
No. The vanilla smithing and crafting recipes still work.
Does it add items or blocks?
No, only the recipe. It's safe to add to or remove from a world.
Can I use it in a modpack?
Yes, feel free to.
Can I change the chances or ingredients?
Not in this version. Tell me what you'd like to see in the comments.
