Spanish Cantilevers

Spanish Cantilevers is an add-on for Create: Pantographs & Wires (PNW) that brings authentic overhead line equipment as built across the Spanish railway network to Minecraft!

It adds realistic conventional network cantilevers, lattice Iberian-type masts, rigid conductor rails for tunnels, and iconic Spanish red pantographs. Everything based on real Adif and RENFE equipment.

Credits to MrJulsen for creating such an amazing mod! Spanish Cantilevers couldn't have been developed without Pantographs N Wires.

Key Features

Spanish Cantilevers

  • Fully Configurable: Modelled after real Spanish conventional network cantilevers with a built-in 3D preview GUI.
  • 3 Contact Wire Positions: Inner, Middle, and Outer zigzag settings to keep your pantograph wear even.
  • 3 Insulator Types: Horizontal support, horizontal hanging support, and vertical support.
  • Flexible Widths: Supports track spans from 1.5 to 6.5 blocks.
  • Diagonal Stays: Cantilevers with a width of 3 blocks or more can be hung with a functional diagonal stay attached to the mast using PNW's wire coil in Support Wire mode.

Spanish Masts

  • 4 Mast Types: Flat Lattice, Flat Diagonal Lattice, Square Lattice Masts, and H Masts. (All retextures from PNW)
  • Full Integration: This mod's masts share tags with PNW's masts so that they can also rust into PNW's rusted masts.

Rigid Catenary & Tunnel Supports

  • Overhead Conductor Rail: Perfect for tunnels and underground lines. Strung like regular wire, it smoothly curves through supports and supplies power to pantographs.
  • Tunnel Supports: Wall and Ceiling variants automatically placed based on the surface you click.
  • Configurable Sizes: Overall size scaling (100%, 125%, 150%) to adjust the support and rigid profile dimensions.
  • Seamless Transitions: Smoothly connects flexible catenary outside tunnel portals directly into the rigid overhead conductor rail inside.

Spanish Pantograph

  • Features the iconic red-painted frame seen on Spanish trains such as Renfe commuters and regional units (Retexture from PNW)

Crafting & Integration

  • All blocks and items are crafted using Spanish Steel (made from Iron Ingots and Black Dye).
  • Integrated with Create's Sequenced Assembly for cantilever crafting.
  • Fully compatible with recipe viewers like JEI.
