About

Description

This mod is heavily inspired by Aizistral's Ring of Seven Curses from their mod "Enigmatic Legacy".

The idea for this mod was to add a way to increase difficulty without overhauling the game or having an effect on players whom didn't want it, making it optional with even optional rewards but make it more vanilla feeling and balanced instead. While the inspiration for this mod was really good for this, it still added a lot more complexity and content to the idea that goes far beyond what would fit well with a vanilla+ modpack or setting. So, I made this mod where upon joining the world for the first time, you'll get the option to become Cursed!

The Curses:

1. Double damage & Knockback from all sources.
2. If set on fire, it will last forever until doused manually.
3. All Neutral mobs will be aggro'd against you within a 28 blocks radius with LOS, 4 blocks without.
4. You cannot sleep in beds.

The Benefits:

1. Increased experience from Mobs.
2. 15% chance for an unique drop from Mobs (Additional 15% chance check for rarer items):
--Cow: Bonus Leather.
--Chicken: Bonus Feathers.
--Zombie: Slime Ball.
--Drowned: Clay Ball.
--Husk: Sand.
--Skeleton/Stray/Bogged: Bonus Arrows.
--Creeper: Bonus Gunpowder.
--Spider/Cave Spider: Fermented Spider Eye.
--Enderman: Echo Shard.
--Witch: Phantom Membrane.
--Evoker: Diamond.
--Pillager: Emerald.
--Vindicator: Lapis Lazuli.
--Magma Cube: Glowstone Dust.
--Blaze/Breeze: Bonus Rods.
--Wither Skeleton/Piglin Brute: Netherite Scrap.
--Zombified Piglin/Piglin: Gold Ingot.

So, I made this mod where upon joining the world for the first time, the game will ask if you want the cursed difficulty or not, giving you a brief small summary of what it is about. Everything in this mod is also configure-able.
