Custom Roles

A Minecraft mod for multiplayer servers that adds a role management system.

Use the /role command to open a book-style GUI, create server-specific roles, manage player memberships, and display role icons in-game.

In-Game Interface

Roles, player information, and notices can be accessed through a custom GUI.

The role interface allows players to browse roles, descriptions, and member information, join or leave roles, and perform management actions according to their permissions.

The notice board allows players to post and share notices with each other.

Roles and notices can be edited or deleted by their creators or server operators (OPs). If a role's creator leaves, management permissions are transferred to the second member.

Role Icon Display

Role icons can be displayed in different parts of the game. Each option can be enabled or disabled in the configuration.

Player Nametags: Display role icons next to player names in the world.

TAB List: Display role icons in the player list.

Chat: Display role icons in chat messages.

Configuration

The following options can be configured:

Role Term: Change the term used for roles in the GUI, such as "Role", "Class", or "Profession".

Role Creation Cost: Set the item and amount required to create a role.

Role Joining Cost: Set the item and amount required to join a role.

Maximum Roles per Player: Set how many roles a player can join at the same time.

Maximum Members per Role: Set the maximum number of members allowed in each role.

Nametag Role Icons: Enable or disable role icons next to player nametags.

TAB List Role Icons: Enable or disable role icons in the player list.

Chat Role Icons: Enable or disable role icons in chat messages.
