General Mechanics

All fairies share the following behavior:

  • Taming — Hold the tame item and right-click the fairy. Each attempt has a 1-in-3 chance of success.
  • Healing — Right-click a tamed fairy with its tame item to heal it (+4 HP).
  • Sitting on head — Right-click a tamed fairy to place it on your head. Only one fairy can sit on your head at a time. Press Shift to dismount.
  • Combat — Tamed fairies automatically attack mobs that hurt the owner or that the owner attacks. They stop chasing if you move too far away.
  • Teleportation — Fairies teleport to you if they fall too far behind.
  • Friendly fire — Fairy projectiles cannot harm the owner or other fairies.
