Description

DeathClip

No more "I should've been recording" after getting one-tapped. As long as OBS has the replay buffer running, the clip saves itself.

Other triggers you can turn on in the config:

  • Get kill
  • Get an advancement
  • HP drops below X hearts
  • Manual keybind (F8 by default)

All toggleable. Off by default except death, kills, and the manual key.

Requirements:

  • OBS 28+ with Replay Buffer enabled and WebSocket server on (Tools → WebSocket Server Settings)
  • Fabric API
  • Client-side only

Quick setup:

  1. In OBS: enable the Replay Buffer and the WebSocket server on port 4455
  2. Click "Start Replay Buffer" before you play
  3. Die

Config file is at .minecraft/config/deathclip.json if you want to change the OBS port, password, or tweak the triggers.
