Welcome, bros.

In derad-bros Ultimate Survival, Minecraft's early/mid-game survival-mode progression is altered to be more challenging. You will need to gather resources and protect yourself from the elements. Choosing to go about survival mode the same way as vanilla Minecraft is possible, but requires a lot more work.

If you enjoy vanilla survival mode but wish it were more difficult and closer to real-life survival, then this mod is for you.

We hope you enjoy our take on a refreshed survival experience.

Features:

• Base mining speed (no tool) is reduced significantly.
• Rocks will appear around the world. Use them to mine blocks or throw them, or place them together to make a nice path
• Anything with fire (Torch, Campfire, Furnace) will:
  • start unlit (needs to be ignited with Fire Plow, Bow Drill, or Flint & Steel)
  • extinguish in time or due to weather
  • Crafting Table reverted to its original name: Workbench
  • Workbench recipe is modified*:
    • Craft a Whittle (string, flint, stick) to access a 3x3 crafting grid, allowing you to craft a Workbench (with its new recipe)
  • Furnace crafting recipe is updated, now requiring 1 Coal
  • Recipes for Stone tools are updated, now requiring Stone blocks instead of Cobblestone
  • Craft Rope using string, use it to ascend/descend vertically
  • Lantern recipe updated, requiring Glowstone Dust (instead of Torch)
  • 4 New tracks by Nate DeRado (drdog111)
    • "Frequency" (Menu + Overworld)
    • "Become" (Menu + Overworld)
    • "Energy In Motion" (Disc, found underwater)
    • "Meta" (Disc)
  • More features planned.
