Description
Diorama Framed
An add-on for Diorama that teaches your map about Framed Blocks, and zooms in when you step indoors.
Diorama draws your world as a model on a table, but it doesn't know what to do with FramedBlocks: they have no color of their own, so they don't show up properly on the map. Diorama Framed fixes that, and adds a small quality-of-life feature for exploring buildings and caves.
Features
Framed Blocks, in color
- Framed Blocks are drawn with the color of the block they're camouflaged as, just like Diorama already does for Create's copycats.
- Reads the camouflage from the top face first. For blocks split into two halves (divided blocks and slabs), it falls back to the first camouflage, then to the second.
- Framed Blocks with no camouflage get a neutral wood color, so they're never invisible.
- Works with both the 1.21.1 and newer FramedBlocks package layouts.
Indoor zoom (optional, off by default)
- Automatically zooms the minimap in when you're under a roof or deep underground, and back out when you leave.
- Detects roofs by collision instead of skylight, so it works under Framed Block ceilings, which let skylight through.
- Shows the interior layer of the map while you're inside, so you can see the room instead of the roof.
- The player arrow shrinks a little on the minimap while zoomed in.
- Smooth transitions with a short delay at doors to avoid flickering.
