About

Description

The world of Minecraft is no longer your happy go-lucky playground. Raiders, pillagers and monsters call this land their home, and they don't want to share it with any pickaxe-wielding plebs like yourself.

Now you can live out this hellish and perhaps epic reality in what is a true-to-vanilla group of entities with enhanced encounter frequencies across all biomes

Aim of the mod:

To make the spawns of a number of vanilla entities described below more common but ideally not overwhelming if well equipped.

What this mod adds:

Following added to all biomes (except Nether and The End in DOMS 1.11 and above):

1. Pillagers - Extension of vanilla Pillager entity, increasing spawn weight meaning more encounters. A shield is strongly recommended!

2. Pillagers (with sword) - Extension of vanilla Pillager entity customised to use a sword instead of crossbow. Spawns at roughly equal rate to Pillager Entity.

3. Slimes - Extension of vanilla Slime entity, increasing spawn weight slightly.

4. Zombie Pigmen - Extension of vanilla Zombie Pigman entity with the following changes: doesn't burn in daylight, will attack Pillagers if found.

As of DOMS 1.1, no longer retaliates if attacked by player (should be truly on your side now, helps with any "accidental" miss-hits), no longer attacks player if made aggressive by Pillager battle.

Note that the ZombiePigmen in the Nether can still spawn naturally by the game and not via my mod so will still be hostile if you attack!

5. Vindicators - Extension of vanilla Vindicator entity, increasing spawn weight slightly meaning more encounters. Spawn weight here is quite low so they are relatively rare encounters.

Balance, bugs and suggestions:

Please leave comments if you have any suggestions including balance changes and if you notice any bugs. The balancing of this project is something I am currently working on so it may still need some tweaking!

Known issues:

Currently mobs added by this mod do not spawn in custom biome adding mods e.g. Biomes O' Plenty. This is due to filtering used to prevent the terrifying numbers prior to version 1.11 spawning in Nether and The End. You can still play with these mods installed but the spawn rate increase will only be in the vanilla biomes for now.

Noted not currently compatible with some instances of skyblock, too many spawns occurring there. Will try to make an update to this at some point once I have more information.
