About

Description

A simple mod which adds more pillagers to the game to make the overworld experience more challenging.

A shield is strongly recommended!

I made this mod by making a copy of the vanilla pillager entity and increasing its spawn weight but retaining all of its vanilla characteristics. Also pillagers with swords are added and are slightly more common than those with crossbows. This results in pillagers appearing more often across all vanilla biomes. They are hostile to the player and villagers.

Pillagers do not spawn in The End or Nether and only spawn during day time.

Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to filter biomes in which these guys spawn yet for 1.18 so it is incompatible with any custom biomes: as far as these guys will simply not spawn in custom biomes.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs or have any suggestions including balance changes. I have not found any major bugs yet but I will be continuing to test for any.
