Double Jump (Shpont)

A simple Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that adds a classic double jump mechanic.

• After leaving the ground, the player can press the jump key once more to perform a second jump in mid-air.

• The strength of the double jump is exactly the same as the normal jump (including effects like Jump Boost or modifications from other mods).

• The extra jump works only once per airtime (resets when landing or swimming).

• Sprinting does not give any additional forward boost — the double jump launches you mostly upward.

• A subtle sound effect is played when performing the double jump.

Lightweight and compatible: the mod uses Minecraft’s own jump logic, so it automatically adapts to other mods that change jump height or behavior.
