G'day Curseforge! I bring you Dragon Enchants!  A completely new set of vanilla-friendly enchantments for you to use to your heart's content!  There are a vast array of new enchantments for the different tools and armor that you will encounter throughout your adventure, ranging from helmet enchantments to axe enchantments!  This mod is a heavy work in progress and you may expect to see a complete visual overhaul, compatibility enchantments, a custom config, and lots more cool effects in the future!  We hope you enjoy it!

There are currently 17 enchantments in the mod!

In the future, expect a large visual overhaul from MC particles.

Weapons:

  • Chain Lightning. Exactly as cool as it sounds. Enemies in a group get hit by arcs of electricity. 4 levels.
  • Aftershock. Create an explosion upon hitting an enemy.
  • Critical Sunder. More damage on critical hits!
  • Water Aspect. Bonus water damage, especially effective against Endermen!

 

Blades:

  • Venomous. Poison enemies you hit!
  • True Edge. Pierce through enchantments, then magic, then armour!

 

Axe:

  • Obliterate. Upon killing an enemy, release a mighty explosion! Has a chain reaction effect.
  • Berserk. Gain more damage the lower health you have!

 

All:

  • Devour. Upon killing an enemy, consume their HP to heal your items!

 

Chestplate:

  • Frost Heart. Slow down and debilitate enemies who attack you!
  • Eternal. Consume food and 200 durability upon taking lethal damage!

 

Helm:

  • Enderference. Prevent nearby Endermen from teleporting!

 

Bows:

  • Homing. Tracks enemies!
  • Detonate. Causes an explosion where the bow lands!
  • EndStep. Teleport to where your bow lands!

 

 

Leggings:

  • Wind Step. Gain Speed when sprinting!

 

Boots:

  • End Walker. Have a chance to teleport to avoid incoming projectile attacks!

 

Pre-1.19; Outdated:

  • All
    • Solar Powered.
      • 5 levels, gives you regeneration when standing in the sun and the weather is clear, and also repairs your items.

     

  • Weapon (all weapons: axes, swords, bows)
    • Enderference.
      • 3 levels. Prevents endermen from teleporting within 3 + level * 2 blocks. Also prevents players from teleporting with end walker.
    • Dragon Slayer.
      • 5 levels. Deals more damage to the ender dragon! 10% extra damage per level.
    • Vampirism.
      • Steal life from the enemy! 3 levels. Heals by 10% * level.
    • Venomous
      • 3 levels. Poisons the enemy! Poison strength and duration increase as the enchantment level increases.
      • Oblivion
      • 5% chance to instantly slay an enemy. Extremely rare.

     

  • Swords
    • Thunder Aspect.
      • 3 levels. Deal 10% extra lightning damage per level, and charges creepers. On sweep attacks, you do 20% extra damage per level, hit enemies further back, and create a dope sound!
    • Soul Devourer.
      • The more enemies you kill, the stronger your weapon gets! Caps at 175% damage. Heals you after killing an enemy. In the future, there'll be a souls mechanic for this enchantment, where you can do really cool stuff if you have enough souls from enemies.
    • Berserk.
      • 4 Levels. Does more damage based on the amount of health you're missing! Assuming you have no max-health boosting potions or effects, and you have 1 health, it'll do 190% damage at max level.

     

    Double Edged
    Deal more damage to your opponent upon a critical hit, but you also take damage in return!

    5 levels.

    Gigaslash
    Another skill-based enchantment, hold A and D together then release to perform a spinning lightning slash! It adds a considerable amount of exhaustion! 3 levels.

     

  • Bows
    • Homing.
      • 3 levels, tracks enemies you can see within a 12 block * level radius of the arrow. Pretty dang cool.

     

  • Armour
    • Storm Protection.
      • 5 levels, reduces damage for each level. Having a full set with all level V results in a 90% damage reduction.

     

  • Boots
    • Cloud Walker.
      • 3 levels. Super op! Gives you slow falling, and an increasing number of jumps in the air depending on your level. Also gives you jump boost!
    • End Walker
      • 3 levels. Also op! Gives a 20% chance per level to dodge incoming projectile attacks by teleporting to a nearby random location! Blocked by enderference. Great for fighting those pesky skeletons!
    • Void Walker
      • 3 levels. Also super op! Lets you teleport in the direction you're looking by pressing shift, with a range of 8 blocks per level. Also consumes your hunger, so be careful! You have to teleport somewhere at night or somewhere with a very low light level. Not stopped by enderference, because you use shadows, not the power of the end.
    • Storm Strider
      • 3 levels. Still op! While there's a thunderstorm, it increases your movement speed, and lets you lightning jump 12 blocks * level by pressing shift. It creates a mini shockwave upon jumping you. Consumes hunger proportionate to distance.

     

  • Leggings
    • Dolphin
      • 3 levels. Increases your movement speed in water.

     

  • Chestplate
    • Void Hunger
      •  5 levels. Can consume 6 * level worth of projectile damage! In the future, this will permanently increase your armour. For now, it just eats the incoming projectile.
