Dragon Toggle

An addon for Dragon Survival: switch between your dragon and human form at any time and keep all your progress.

In Dragon Survival, turning back into a human normally means losing your dragon. With Dragon Toggle you just press a key: you become human, and when you press it again your dragon comes back exactly as it was.

Features

  • One key to switch forms. Press G (rebindable in the controls menu) to switch between dragon and human.
  • Nothing is lost. Your dragon type, body type, growth/size, abilities and skill levels, skin and wings are saved when you turn human and fully restored when you turn back.
  • Survives death and relogging. Your stored dragon form is kept after dying, logging out or returning from the End.
  • No item duplication. Claw tools are put back into your inventory before you turn human.
  • Made for roleplay servers. Turn human for a village scene and be a dragon again for the journey, without an altar and without starting over.
  • Works with the altar. If you choose a new dragon at the Dragon Altar while human, the next switch uses that new dragon.

Balance

So nobody switches back and forth in the middle of a fight, there are a few limits. Every value can be changed in serverconfig/dragontoggle-server.toml:

combatLockSeconds 15 No transformation after dealing or taking damage
blockWhileFlying true You must land before turning human (prevents fall deaths)

Players in Creative mode are not affected by the cooldown or the combat lock.

  • Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+
  • Dragon Survival 1.5.x (built for 1.5.70)
  • Needed on both server and client (the key is registered on the client)

Dragon Toggle is an unofficial addon and is not affiliated with the Dragon Survival team. Dragon Survival is not included and must be installed separately.
