Driver166's Cameras

Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric

Overview

A camera workflow for Minecraft. Bodies, lenses, the mount adapter, memory cards and batteries are separate items; framing, focusing, exposure, burst shooting and playback follow the order they would on a real camera, and every shot ends up in your game directory as a JPEG with EXIF and a DNG.

What's in it

  • Two bodies: Nikon Z 9 (electronic viewfinder, 8256×5504) and Nikon D810 (optical finder, 7360×4912).
  • Lenses and mounts: NIKKOR Z 600mm, AF-S 28-300mm and Cangye 1250mm; with the FTZ adapter fitted, the Z 9 gains a separate F-mount slot.
  • Power and storage: a battery's durability is its charge, and the electronic finder keeps draining it; SD, CF and CFexpress cards derive remaining shots from capacity.
  • Exposure and focus: P/A/S/M, ISO 100 to 12800, ±5 EV, seven white balance presets; AF and MF, with in-finder focus indication.
  • Output: a JPEG at quality 0.92 with standard EXIF, a matching JSON and a matching 14-bit DNG.
  • Playback: an album with 16× zoom, paging and deletion, plus a Camera Workbench and a Photographer villager.

Controls

V viewfinder, Tab eyepiece / LCD, M configuration, R album; LMB shutter, RMB focus, wheel to zoom, Alt, Shift and Ctrl with the wheel for focus distance, aperture and shutter speed.

Requirements

Fabric Loader and Fabric API, Minecraft 1.20.1, Java 17 or newer. Native-resolution capture needs a texture size limit and heap to match; when either is short the mod falls back to a cropped-window frame.
