See nameplates only when they make sense- when someone is in your line of sight or close enough to notice. Configurable rendering modes let you balance immersion and awareness.

Description

Dynamic Nameplates

Cleaner nameplates. Fully configurable.

Dynamic Nameplates replaces Minecraft’s always-visible player name tags with a more immersive, dynamic system. Nameplates only appear when you’re actually looking at someone, near them, or within a configurable tolerance zone - making gameplay feel more realistic while still preserving useful visibility when you need it.

✨ Features

  • Hide nameplates unless players are detected by your gaze, proximity, or awareness zone
  • Three rendering modes:
    • Crosshair Mode - Nameplate shows only when directly targeted
    • Cube Mode - Shows when within a widening “cone of vision”
    • Area Mode - Simple distance-based visibility
  • Separate close-range and long-range behavior
  • Fully configurable distance, angles, and scaling
  • Toggle key + hold-to-show key
  • ModMenu support for easy in-game configuration
  • Client-side only - No server installation required

Displays no nameplate being rendered due to the crosshair not being near them.
