Description

The Grabby Frog

A green frog with black spots that you hold in both hands. Right-click and its tongue shoots out up to 16 blocks.

  • Hit a mob, a player or a dropped item and the tongue drags it back to you.
  • Hit a block and the frog rips it out and gives you what silk touch would drop. Flowers and sugar cane work too.
  • Grass and ferns don't stop the tongue unless you're aiming right at one.
  • It won't take chests or other blocks that hold items, or anything unbreakable. It respects build protection and other people's claims.
  • It only grabs players you could hit, so servers with PvP off are safe.
  • If you switch away from the frog mid-grab, the block gets placed where you're looking.

The frog's mouth opens while the tongue is out and it makes frog noises when it eats.

To get one, craft a net and right-click a frog with it. The net takes 32 catches before it breaks.
