Description
Elements: Nexus 1.0.3
Elements: Nexus is a Server-side essentials all-in-one mod. Nexus covers ranks, the tab list, chat, homes, kits, moderation and more. It fixes a lot of issues that, in my opinion, had either never been addressed or updated, despite their options being available in the config files. In this mod, I have added a Master Control File. Every feature and subcommand has its own on/off switch in config/elements_nexus/features.toml. A feature that is switched off doesn't load at all.
Features
- Ranks & permissions: groups, inheritance, prefixes and
nexus.*nodes. Nexus registers as the NeoForge permission handler, so other mods see your ranks. Ranks can hand number values to other mods (node=value, e.g. claim limits). Rank-ups can run commands on promotion. - Tab list: rank tags, nametags, sorting, a header and footer, and an AFK marker.
- Side panel: name, rank, balance and claim location, with custom styles per claim or dimension. The name follows the rank color, or the title color when one is on.
- Balance comes from an economy mod that works through Elements: Vault (such as Elements: Economy) or from auto-detected coin mods.
- Each currency can go on its own line, lined up under the first. Colors and layout are set in
sidepanel.tomland apply on save, no restart. - Claim location from Elements: Claims, OPAC or FTB Chunks.
- Chat: format, filter, mentions and links, plus
/msg,/r,/ignore, social spy and staff chat. A Title Scrolls{title}hook is included, and chat can use the title's color. - Show items in chat: type
[item]to show the item in your hand, or shift + right-click an item in your inventory. Hover it in chat to see the full tooltip. - Travel: homes with per-rank limits, warps, spawn, back, teleport requests and staff teleports, with warmup and a combat lock. Homes can be blocked in chosen worlds, and elytra gliding can be stopped in chosen worlds.
- World: the Ender Dragon respawns on its own a set time after it dies (timer in
dragon.toml). - Waystone rules: per-dimension control over placing, activating and teleporting with waystones. Chosen types, like warp plates, can be let through.
- Entity limits: per-chunk caps for pets, passive mobs, monsters and villagers, and for armor stands, item frames, paintings, minecarts, boats and any entity or tag you add. Off by default; numbers in
limits.toml. Turns itself off when Elements: Claims is installed. - Kits: one-time and cooldown kits.
- AFK: automatic AFK detection.
- Player toggles:
/pvplets players opt out of PvP, with a server-wide switch for staff./phantomsturns phantom spawning on or off per player. - Moderation: warn, mute, kick, ban, tempban, IP ban, freeze and jail, plus inventory view/edit, history and a staff log. Vanish hides staff everywhere.
- Messages: nicknames,
/rules,/vote,/help(only commands a player can use),/broadcast, announcements,/restartwarn, and join, leave, first-join and MOTD messages. Links are clickable. - Holograms: vanilla text displays with lines, animation, scale and facing options.
- Discord bridge: event feed, two-way chat, staff chat,
/link, rank-to-role sync and a player-count status channel. - Migration: imports from NeoEssentials, FTB Ranks, FTB Essentials, LuckPerms and TAB, with a preview first.
- Storage: JSON (default), YAML, SQLite or MySQL. Switch with
/nexus storage convert. SQLite and MySQL need their driver jar inelements_nexus/drivers(not included). - Overlap guard: turns off Nexus features that another installed mod already provides.
Install
- Drop
elements_nexus-<version>.jarinto the server'smods/folder. Use the full jar, not-slim. - Start the server once to generate
config/elements_nexus/. - In
config/neoforge-server.toml, setpermissionHandler = "elements_nexus:permissions". - Restart the server.
