Description

Elytra Cruise

Choose your destination. Let your elytra do the flying.

Elytra Cruise is a client-side autopilot that handles takeoff, coordinate navigation, and landing. It runs on your client and requires no installation on the server.

Features

  • Cruise control — maintains cruising altitude through controlled climbs and dives. Once cruising, flight continues without constant rocket boosting.
  • Automatic takeoff — equips available elytra, uses firework rockets, and climbs to cruising altitude.
  • Coordinate navigation — enter your destination’s X and Z coordinates. You can change the destination during flight.
  • Automatic landing — descends near the destination and slows down for touchdown.
  • Equipment management — checks rocket supplies and estimated elytra durability before takeoff, accounts for Unbreaking, and switches to spare elytra during flight.
  • Free look — move the camera independently of your flight direction and switch perspectives with F5.
  • Chat and inventory access — use chat and manage your inventory during flight while the autopilot keeps you on course.
  • Compact flight display — shows cruise status, total speed, horizontal speed, and target cruising altitude.

Controls

  • H — turn cruise control on or off while gliding.
  • J — open the destination screen. On the ground, setting a destination starts automatic takeoff when the required equipment and supplies are available.

Both keys can be reassigned in Minecraft’s controls settings.

Xaero’s World Map integration

With Xaero’s World Map installed, right-click a location on the map and select Fly here to set your destination.

The map is optional — coordinate navigation works without it.

Flight behaviour

Cruise follows a wave-shaped path, so your actual height changes throughout each cycle. The mod selects a faster or more compact flight pattern according to your altitude.

Choose open areas for takeoff and landing. Cruising altitude does not account for player-built structures.
