Description
Emperor's RPG (English)
Warning — structure mods: avoid mods that change structures for the whole world (Structure Overlapless, Sparse Structures and the like): they can thin out or cut Markarth. If you want one, use Structurify; Markarth already comes set up for it.
Emperor's RPG turns Minecraft into a Skyrim-style RPG: a SkyUI-style inventory, crafting without grids, skills and perks, leveled enemies with a Skyrim-style difficulty, septims and vendors, vampires, the city of Markarth, a Daedric quest and Dwemer blocks and machines, tied to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Epic Fight, Curios and other combat mods. Its mod id is rpginventory, which is why its config files keep that name.
Also in it:
- Innate Grimoire (also on CurseForge on its own; no need to download it with this mod): learn each spell once and keep it forever in a grimoire bound to you.
- Overlord Spells (also on CurseForge on its own): legendary spells inspired by Overlord and Hellsing, spells that conjure Epic Fight weapons, and the Immortal Cultivation of the True Immortal.
- Number Correction: Iron's cooldown reduction made literal, so 100% really means no cooldown.
Inventory
- SkyUI-style inventory: categories on the left, an item list with name, count and damage/armor, the player model and an item card.
- Click to equip: left click puts an item in the main hand, right click in the off hand, like Skyrim's default (client config
leftButtonMainHand = falseinverts it). Armor and Curios equip with any click; food and potions are used at once. - Favorites: F (or middle click) marks an item. Q opens the quick favorites menu, Skyrim style, with two tabs: Items and Spells & Powers.
- Containers open in a two-list screen (yours and the container's) with take-all and store-all.
- Two-handed weapons follow Epic Fight's rules; valid pairs (dual tachis, sword and shield) are kept.
- Keyring: keys go to the Keys category, take no space, can't be dropped or lost on death, and open their locked doors with E.
- H sheathes your weapons.
Skills and perks
- 10 skills that grow with use: One-Handed, Two-Handed, Ranged, Smithing, Destruction, Restoration, Conjuration, Alteration, Sneak and Speech (Speech grows by buying and selling).
- Character level: skill level-ups raise it; each level gives a perk point and a choice of Health, Mana or Stamina.
- Skills screen with K (or the Skyrim Menu's SKILLS, if you use it): each skill is a constellation and its perks are the stars.
- Over 120 perks, for example:
- Combat: damage, criticals, bleeding, armor penetration, Epic Fight stun and knockdown, stamina, dual wielding, riposte.
- Ranged: damage, draw and arrow speed, saving arrows, stun.
- Sneak: Shadow Walker stealth, quieter armor, silent steps and dodges; Backstab and Assassin's Blade multiply sneak attacks and Combat Evolution assassinations.
- Speech: better prices, Haggling, Merchant, Investor and Master Trader.
- Destruction: spell power, critical spells, fear, freeze, disintegrate, and Overlord's Magic at 100 (teaches the Overlord Spells).
- Conjuration: stronger summons, Soul Stealer, Forbidden Knowledge, and Necromancy: Raise Dead in your hands, for any player; a recent corpse rises as your thrall for 5 minutes or until it dies (1 at a time, 3 with Necromancy II).
- Restoration: stronger heals, mana regeneration, cleansing, area heals that hurt enemies, Avoid Death.
- Alteration: mana cost, cooldown, spell level, magic resistance, Mage Armor, Arcane Echo, Arcane Barrier.
- Smithing: material locks (Diamond and Netherite Smithing: every weapon, armor and tool made with that material, by its recipe or repair material), jewelry, Dismantle, Masterwork, Temper and more.
- Fully modular: every perk is a JSON entry in
config/rpginventory-perks.json: change, remove or add perks (levels, numbers, positions, requirements, any attribute of any mod), then/rpgskills reloadperks. A material lock takes any ore, ingot, gem or tag: everything equippable made with it (or with what the ore smelts into) needs the perk. The perks that give this mod's own abilities (vampire and Necromancy) can be removed from the tree to switch them off.
Leveled enemies and the Restless Night
Hostile creatures come with a level near your character level and get stronger with it: more health, damage and armor, and zombies, skeletons, piglins and illagers get armor and weapons by level (leather up to netherite). Bosses level up too, never below you (their own bars are left alone). The creature you aim at shows its name, level and health in numbers at the top of the screen. A difficulty (Novice to Legendary, in the pause menu) sets how fast they grow; your damage never changes and theirs grows after your armor. Now and then a Restless Night falls: creatures of other mods come out anywhere (/rpgnight start|stop). Settings: leveledEnemies and restlessNight in rpginventory-common.toml.
Crafting and smithing
- No crafting grid: every recipe is a list of materials taken from your inventory; pick the item and press Craft. Recipes never conflict, so Polymorph isn't needed.
- Crafting tab in the inventory for the basics; the Forge (a big 7-block forge) crafts everything else, smithing table recipes included. The vanilla crafting table is removed.
- Your own recipes in
config/rpginventory-recipes.json;/rpgrecipes copycopies the held item's recipe there. Datapack recipes of typerpginventory:materialswork too. - Blast furnace and smoker, instant: ingots and food in any quantity, in one click; fuel is spent per craft.
- Improving (Skyrim tiers, Fine to Legendary) at the grindstone for weapons and the Armor Table for armor: each stage adds a share of the item's own damage or armor, more with Smithing.
Septims and vendors
- Septims are the money: they go to your purse (no inventory space, kept on death). Bodies and the chests of dungeons and dangerous places carry them.
- Vendors: armorer, weaponsmith, toolsmith, butcher, fisherman, farmer and mason no longer trade emeralds. Talk to them (E) for a barter screen; the smiths sell random gear of every installed mod. You can sell anything, while the vendor has septims; stock and septims come back every 2 days.
- How many: click buys or sells one, Shift + left click chooses the amount, Shift + right click takes all.
- Prices come from what an item is made of and its stats, plus enchantments and improvements. Everything is in
config/rpginventory-trade.json.
Interaction, quick loot and corpses
- E interacts, whatever is in your hands: doors, chests, villagers, Mebahel's NPCs, quest boards, bodies... with a prompt under the crosshair. The right button only places blocks and uses items (
classicRightClick = truein the client config brings the vanilla way back). - Quick loot: look at a chest, barrel, body... and its items show next to the crosshair. Mouse wheel picks, E takes, R takes all, Shift + E opens.
- Dropping: from the inventory, R (one) or Shift + R (all of that item).
- Corpses: a mob that dies near a player leaves its body, with everything it wore, its drops and sometimes loot from its structure (pillagers from outposts, piglins from bastions, mods' mobs from their mods' structures). A body stays 5 minutes with loot, 2 empty. Config:
config/rpginventory-corpse-loot.json.
Markarth
The city of Markarth from Skyrim, with its canyon, mountains, waterfalls, river and the valley north of it, generates once per world, on plains. Use a new world (it only appears in chunks never generated). /locate structure rpginventory:markarth finds it. Made only of Minecraft blocks and this mod's blocks; the map is based on the Markarth map by TheOKcraft, changed a lot since then.
- A real structure, cut in tiles that structure mods like Structurify see (
rpginventory:markarth,rpginventory:markarth_tile); nothing else spawns on it or within 64 blocks. - Built with the mod's Dwemer blocks: Dwemer metal, gates and doors, braziers, sconces, a waterwheel at the mill.
- Its people: villagers walk the streets, and with Guard Villagers guards keep the streets, the gate and the stables.
- No hostile spawns anywhere in Markarth's area (spawners, eggs, commands and quests still work).
Interiors: some buildings are entered through a Dwemer Passage Door that takes you inside, a place in its own dimension (like Skyrim's interior cells), in adventure mode.
- The Silver-Blood Inn: the hall and its rooms. Kleppr, the innkeeper, sells food and knows rumors. Villagers come in by day. Markarth's quest board (Mebahel's RPG) stands beside the inn.
- Understone Keep: Calcelmo sells the Dwemer blocks and machines, the Dwemer Tuning Fork and the Tome: Sanctum Door, and buys your things.
- The Abandoned House: see The House of Horrors.
- The stables: Cedran sells a Bill of Sale: Horse and a Bill of Sale: Wolf: use it and your tamed animal comes to you. With Feelix's Stagecoach, Markarth's stagecoach is known to everyone and fares are paid in septims.
The House of Horrors (Daedric quest, Mace of Molag Bal)
Every player can do it once, on their own, without commands, and every player has their own Abandoned House, built fresh each time they go in.
How it starts: at the Silver-Blood Inn, ask Kleppr about rumors. The rest is for you to find out: a single Daedric quest, with Skyrim's House of Horrors as its reference. The reward is the Mace of Molag Bal: its hits absorb mana (Iron's) and stamina (Epic Fight), and a kill with it traps the soul for mana.
- Those who serve Molag Bal by the end can drink from his blood fountain and become vampires, always by their own choice.
- Both maces have 3D models after Skyrim's Mace of Molag Bal.
- Molag Bal's spoken lines: the mod ships no recordings; a resource pack can voice them (sounds
rpginventory:voice.molag_bal.*). /rpghoh status [player]and/rpghoh reset [player]for reports and restarts.
Dwemer blocks and machines
A Dwemer creative tab in the bronze of Skyrim's Dwemer ruins; Calcelmo sells the blocks in survival.
- Building: Dwemer Metal (slab and stairs), Dwemer Frieze, Dwemer Grate.
- Doors from 1x3 to the 4x5 Dwemer Gate, opened by hand, E, redstone or steam.
- Steam: Dwemer Pipes connect by themselves; a Dwemer Valve sends steam through them, and pipe ends give a redstone signal.
- Dwemer Button and Dwemer Button Pedestal.
- Dwemer Tuning Fork: links a pipe end or pedestal to a door with nothing touching (Shift adds sources, Ctrl locks a door). It only works on what you placed; the Master fork (creative only) works on anything.
- Locked doors can't be mined or blown up in survival: only their mechanism, redstone or key opens them.
- Fire and light: Markarth and Dwemer braziers, brazier dishes and sconces.
Powers and the Sanctum
- A Powers page in the Magic menu (P): a click puts a power on the power key (O).
- Sanctum Door (from the Tome: Sanctum Door): summons a door only you go through, to your own Sanctum, 256 x 256 blocks that are only yours (always noon, no mobs). The door inside takes you back.
Vampires
Becoming one: serve Molag Bal in The House of Horrors and choose to drink from his blood fountain. The Chalice of Blood (creative tab only) and /rpgvampire make do the same.
The Vampire Lord (O): a new body with its own model, until Revert Form. Shift switches between levitation with spells in the hands (hold to channel) and claws on the ground (with EpicFight - Dawnday; without it the Lord stays levitating).
- Lord spells: Raze (a thrown blood cut that steals life), Blood Storm (perk), Raise Dead (a body rises as your thrall for 1 minute) and Sinister Grip (lift, choke and throw).
- Lord powers: Mist Form, Tremble and Revert Form.
- Lord claws (Epic Fight and EpicFight - Dawnday): each button attacks with one claw; Y is the two-claw finisher.
- Vampire Lord tree (Sacrosanct's): 17 perks, levels 1 to 100 earned in the form.
The human form (Skyrim style): spells go in your hands from the favorites (Q) or the Magic menu, each button casts its hand, and powers go on O. A hand holds a spell or an item. With Epic Fight you stay in Epic Fight mode, with the Weapons of Miracles casting poses.
- Human spells: Vampiric Drain, Dark Hollowing (a blood beam) and Nightwalk (a flying invisible shadow).
- Both forms: Sinister Grip, Bat Teleport, Hideous Mist and Dark Envoy.
- Vampire claws (Epic Fight, Dawnday and Nightfall; without Dawnday the Claws power doesn't exist): the Hookclaws moveset; Y is a 30-second Feral Claw rage.
Blood.
- Draining and Hemomancy (inspired by Sacrosanct): sneak + use, with an empty hand, on a villager nobody sees drains it to death. Drainings unlock the Hemomancy spells: Blood Seed, Blood Brand, Blood Garden, Blood Scourge, Blood Ankh, Profaned Sun and Borrowed Time.
- Absorbing (like Alucard): creatures killed by draining, a killing bite or the claw finisher go into you, up to 50. They go to Overlord Spells' Absorbed menu (J), where you can sort them into groups; the Bird of Hermes releases them as thralls.
- Blood hunger: four stages, from sated (+20%) to starving beast (-30%), one down every 48 Minecraft hours without blood.
- Sun: no natural regeneration in daylight under the open sky; anything on your head blocks it.
More powers: Seduction (a humanoid stays tame for 30 seconds) and Dominate (any mob but a boss becomes your companion, up to 3); interact with them to drink their blood or drain them. Bat Travel flies you as bats to one of your Xaero's Minimap waypoints.
Menus and config: the Magic menu (P, or the Skyrim Menu's Magic menu with the Innate Grimoire page too) has the pages Vampire Spells and Powers (the absorbed are on J). Every number is in config/rpginventory-vampire.json; /rpgvampire reload applies it.
Overlord Spells
Legendary Iron's Spells spells that come with this mod (also on CurseForge on its own, where every spell is explained), on two sides:
- Overlord and Hellsing (locked until Overlord's Magic, Destruction 100): Grasp Heart, Wail of the Banshee, The Goal of All Life is Death, Black Hole, Reality Slash and Iä Shub-Niggurath with its Dark Young; for vampires, The Bird of Hermes and The Cromwell Seal (the absorbed go to the J menu). With Epic Fight Nightfall, spells that conjure its weapons (Crimson Moon, HF-Murasama, Bloodlust, Kusabimaru, Duskfire).
- Immortal Cultivation (a new school, not locked by the perk): the Cold Iron Sword, an immortal's flying sword, with its sword arts and arrays; and, for whoever beats their own Reflection in the Immortal Trial and becomes a True Immortal, the Aura Manifestation, the Dharma Body, the True Body, the time spells (Rewind, Time Stop, time anchors...), Soul Requiem and the Dimensional Cut to any world.
Settings in overlord_spells-server.toml.
Number Correction
Iron's cooldown reduction only halves what is left at each +100%, so 100% never reaches zero. Number Correction makes it literal: 50% is half, 100% is no cooldown. Options in config/number_correction-common.toml (enabled, maxReduction, minimumTicks).

Editing the skill trees
All perks live in config/rpginventory-perks.json (created the first time the game starts). Edit it, save, and type /rpgskills reloadperks in game; on a server the server's file is sent to the players. Change any number, delete a perk to take it out of the tree (it isn't added back by updates), or add your own. This one adds a Steel Smithing star to Smithing:
{
"id": "steel_smithing",
"skill": "smithing",
"name": "Steel Smithing",
"description": "Forge steel weapons, armor and tools, and gain 2 hearts.",
"level": 30,
"requires": [],
"x": 0.6,
"y": 0.6,
"effects": [
{ "type": "unlock_material", "materials": ["#forge:ingots/steel"] },
{ "type": "attribute", "attribute": "minecraft:generic.max_health", "amount": 4, "operation": "addition" }
]
}
- skill:
one_handed,two_handed,ranged,smithing,destruction,restoration,conjuration,alteration,sneak,speechorvampire. - level: the skill level needed. requires: ids of perks needed first (they're linked in the constellation).
- x / y (optional): where the star sits, 0 to 1 (x: left to right, y: top to bottom).
- name / description (optional): without them the lang keys
rpginventory.perk_name.<id>andrpginventory.perk_desc.<id>are used, so a resource pack can translate them. - effects: any number of them.
unlock_materialtakes ores, ingots, gems,#tagsor@modid;attributetakes any attribute of any mod. Every effect type and its options is listed in the_helpat the top of the file.
More examples (each goes in the "perks" list, like the one above):
A One-Handed perk: +20% damage and a 10% chance of a 1.5x critical, only with daggers and rapiers in the main hand. hand is one or two; categories are words of the weapon's Epic Fight category or item id (dagger matches any item with "dagger" in it). Without categories it works with any weapon of that hand.
{
"id": "duelist",
"skill": "one_handed",
"name": "Duelist",
"description": "+20% damage and critical hits with daggers and rapiers.",
"level": 40,
"requires": ["armsman_1"],
"effects": [
{ "type": "weapon_damage", "hand": "one", "categories": ["dagger", "rapier"], "amount": 0.2 },
{ "type": "weapon_crit", "hand": "one", "categories": ["dagger", "rapier"], "chance": 0.1, "multiplier": 1.5 }
]
}
A Destruction perk for one school: +20% Fire spell power (an Iron's attribute) and damage spells cost 10% less mana. multiply_base adds a share of the base value; addition adds a flat number.
{
"id": "pyromancer",
"skill": "destruction",
"name": "Pyromancer",
"description": "+20% Fire spell power, damage spells cost 10% less mana.",
"level": 50,
"requires": ["augmented_destruction_2"],
"effects": [
{ "type": "attribute", "attribute": "irons_spellbooks:fire_spell_power", "amount": 0.2, "operation": "multiply_base" },
{ "type": "spell_mana", "amount": 0.1, "damageOnly": true }
]
}
Locking a spell addon behind a perk: nobody can cast or inscribe its spells until they own it ("modid:*" for a whole mod, or single spell ids).
{
"id": "forbidden_lore",
"skill": "conjuration",
"name": "Forbidden Lore",
"description": "Unlocks the spells of Cataclysm Spellbooks.",
"level": 75,
"requires": [],
"effects": [
{ "type": "unlock_spells", "spells": ["cataclysm_spellbooks:*"] }
]
}
A typo (a missing comma) makes the whole file fall back to the defaults, so keep a copy before editing. The vampire and Necromancy perks can be moved or removed, but what their spells and powers do is set in config/rpginventory-vampire.json.
Switching parts off
Restart the game after changing these.

Its four sections:overlord_and_hellsing,immortal_cultivation,bossandcompat.config/number_correction-common.toml:enabled = falsebrings back Iron's own cooldown math.config/rpginventory-client.toml, sectionhud:enabled = falsebrings back the vanilla bars. The same bars also come as their own mod, Emperor's HUD: with it installed, it draws them (its own config) and Emperor's RPG keeps only the experience bar.

- H guarda as armas.
Skills e perks
- Furtividade: furtividade do Shadow Walker, armadura mais silenciosa, passos e esquivas silenciosos; Ataque pelas Costas e Lâmina do Assassino multiplicam ataques furtivos e assassinatos do Combat Evolution.
Configurações: leveledEnemies e restlessNight no rpginventory-common.toml.
Craft e ferraria
classicRightClick = truena config do cliente volta o jeito vanilla).
- Construção: Metal Dwemer (laje e escada), Friso Dwemer, Grade Dwemer.
Vampiros
- Overlord e Hellsing (travados até a Magia do Overlord, Destruição 100): Grasp Heart, Wail of the Banshee, The Goal of All Life is Death, Black Hole, Reality Slash e Iä Shub-Niggurath com os Dark Young; para vampiros, The Bird of Hermes e The Cromwell Seal (os absorvidos vão pro menu do J).
Configurações no overlord_spells-server.toml.
Number Correction

{
"id": "steel_smithing",
"skill": "smithing",
"name": "Ferraria de Aço",
"description": "Forje armas, armaduras e ferramentas de aço e ganhe 2 corações.",
"level": 30,
"requires": [],
"x": 0.6,
"y": 0.6,
"effects": [
{ "type": "unlock_material", "materials": ["#forge:ingots/steel"] },
{ "type": "attribute", "attribute": "minecraft:generic.max_health", "amount": 4, "operation": "addition" }
]
}
- skill:
one_handed,two_handed,ranged,smithing,destruction,restoration,conjuration,alteration,sneak,speechouvampire.
{
"id": "duelist",
"skill": "one_handed",
"name": "Duelista",
"level": 40,
"requires": ["armsman_1"],
"effects": [
{ "type": "weapon_damage", "hand": "one", "categories": ["dagger", "rapier"], "amount": 0.2 },
{ "type": "weapon_crit", "hand": "one", "categories": ["dagger", "rapier"], "chance": 0.1, "multiplier": 1.5 }
]
}
{
"id": "pyromancer",
"skill": "destruction",
"name": "Piromante",
"description": "+20% de poder de Fogo, feitiços de dano custam 10% menos mana.",
"level": 50,
"requires": ["augmented_destruction_2"],
"effects": [
{ "type": "attribute", "attribute": "irons_spellbooks:fire_spell_power", "amount": 0.2, "operation": "multiply_base" },
{ "type": "spell_mana", "amount": 0.1, "damageOnly": true }
]
}
{
"id": "forbidden_lore",
"skill": "conjuration",
"name": "Saber Proibido",
"description": "Libera os feitiços do Cataclysm Spellbooks.",
"level": 75,
"requires": [],
"effects": [
{ "type": "unlock_spells", "spells": ["cataclysm_spellbooks:*"] }
]
}
Desligar partes do mod

O círculo de conjuração do Iä Shub-Niggurath é adaptado do feitiço Grand Sigil, e os olhos do The Bird of Hermes do feitiço Gaze, do Apex Arcana do HanHoYoung (licença MIT).
