Description
What the hundred are made of A hundred enchantments in three categories: eighty regular ones, five weapon masteries, and twenty-one curses.
The regular ones cover combat, survival, tools and ranged play, and come from both the enchanting table and loot chests. The five weapon masteries are high-tier enchantments that only apply to weapons, available the same way. The twenty-one curses only appear in loot chests; the enchanting table will never offer one.
In loot chests, an ordinary enchanted book has a thirty-five percent chance to appear, and a curse book a separate twenty-two percent. The two rolls are independent, so one does not crowd out the other.
How it stays balanced No damage bonus exceeds forty percent at maximum level. That ceiling exists so it cannot stack with Sharpness or Smite into something absurd.
Every restorative effect carries a cost or a cooldown. Gluttony spends durability; lifesteal is halved against players.
Wherever vanilla already has an enchantment doing the same job, the version here is mutually exclusive with it. The player makes a choice instead of stacking everything.
Against players the defaults apply a halved effect, which a PvP server can turn off. Enchantment level caps never exceed vanilla.
Working with EnchantmentDescriptions If EnchantmentDescriptions is installed, each enchanted book shows what its enchantment does.
Without it, this mod appends the description itself. With it installed, the mod steps aside so the same sentence is never printed twice. Both read the same language keys, so the wording is identical either way.
Only enchanted books show descriptions, not enchantments already on gear. That follows how vanilla structures item tooltips.
