Enchantment Expansion for Saddles and Animal Armor

Overview

This mod allows you to apply armor enchantments to saddles, horse armor, and nautilus armor using an enchanting table. Not only does this increase the survivability of your mounts, but applying specific enchantments (such as those exclusive to boots) to saddles also grants special effects that are active only while riding.

Abilities Exclusive to Mounts

Applying specific standard enchantments to a saddle unlocks unique physical behaviors and effects:

Frost Walker : When equipped on a horse or camel, it allows the mount to move across water while freezing the surface. When equipped on a nautilus, the mount can glide across land as if on ice, effectively “walking on ice.” It also completely nullifies damage from lava blocks.

Swift Sneak : Reduces enemy detection ranges and increases stealth while mounted. This allows for safer exploration at night and safer travel through dangerous areas.

Soul Speed : Not only does it allow for rapid movement across Soul Sand and Soul Soil, but it also causes the mount’s health to regenerate slowly. Furthermore, equipping this to undead mounts—such as Skeleton Horses, Zombie Horses, Zombie Nautilus, and Camel Husks—significantly increases their movement speed.

Depth Strider : Greatly increases your mount’s movement speed while underwater.
