# Enchanting Plus

Enchanting Plus is a Vanilla+ Fabric mod that expands and improves Minecraft's enchanting system without replacing or trivializing vanilla mechanics. Instead of adding overpowered enchantments or complex magic systems, the mod focuses on solving the most frustrating parts of enchanting while keeping the experience balanced, rewarding, and familiar.

Have you ever spent dozens of levels rerolling enchantments, wished you could see the hidden enchantments before committing, or been blocked by the dreaded "Too Expensive!" message? Enchanting Plus addresses these problems with a collection of carefully designed tools and mechanics that integrate naturally into survival gameplay.

## Features

### 🔮 Enchantment Lens

Reveal every enchantment that will be applied before enchanting. Hold the Enchantment Lens in your offhand while using an enchanting table to view the complete list of enchantments hidden behind each offer. No more guessing whether that Sharpness IV enchantment also contains Looting III or Unbreaking III.

### 🎲 Enchantment Rerolls

Unhappy with your current enchantment offers? Reroll all available enchanting table options for a small XP cost instead of wasting levels enchanting disposable items just to refresh the table.

### 💎 Catalyst

Replace lapis lazuli with Catalyst, a reusable enchanting fuel crafted from lapis and amethyst. Each Catalyst contains multiple charges and can be used for several enchantments before being consumed, making enchanting more convenient while remaining balanced.

### ✨ Focus Catalyst

A powerful consumable that transforms all enchanting table offers into maximum-tier enchantments. Focus Catalysts also allow already-enchanted equipment to receive additional compatible enchantments directly through the enchanting table, giving new life to gear that would otherwise rely solely on anvils and villagers.

### 🍀 Lucky Enchanter Potions

Brew special potions that increase the quality of enchantments generated by the enchanting table. Lucky Enchanter potions improve the chances of receiving stronger enchantments, additional enchantments, and better enchantment combinations while fully respecting vanilla enchantment limits and compatibility rules.

### 🏺 Ancient Catalyst

A rare treasure hidden within end-game structures. Holding an Ancient Catalyst while using an anvil allows you to bypass Minecraft's infamous "Too Expensive!" restriction and continue upgrading your gear. The item is consumed upon use and remains a valuable late-game resource for players pursuing perfect equipment.

## Designed for Vanilla+

Enchanting Plus is built around a simple philosophy: improve enchanting without breaking Minecraft's progression.

The mod:

* Does not add overpowered enchantments.
* Does not exceed vanilla enchantment limits.
* Respects vanilla enchantment compatibility rules.
* Preserves the importance of exploration and resource gathering.
* Works naturally alongside vanilla survival progression.

Instead of replacing Minecraft's enchanting system, Enchanting Plus enhances it with better information, improved quality of life, and meaningful end-game progression.

Whether you're a casual survival player, a technical Minecraft enthusiast, or someone chasing the perfect set of gear, Enchanting Plus makes enchanting more rewarding, less frustrating, and significantly more enjoyable while staying true to the spirit of vanilla Minecraft.

## Requirements

* Minecraft 1.21.1
* Fabric Loader
* Fabric API

Thank you for trying Enchanting Plus, and happy enchanting!
