About

Description

Entity Battle API is a modular Cobblemon addon framework that allows compatible Minecraft entities to participate in Cobblemon battles through reusable data-driven profiles.

The framework supports two integration modes:

• Native World Mode: the original Minecraft entity remains in the world with its native behavior, model, animations, AI, and drops. Players can convert it into a Cobblemon battle entity when needed.

• Direct Cobblemon Mode: the compatible entity is registered and spawned directly as a Cobblemon battle entity.

Features include:

• Configurable entity-to-Cobblemon conversion
• Reuse of the Cobblemon battle engine, UI, moves, abilities, items, and party system
• Native model and animation integration where supported
• Boss battles with custom teams, phases, damage sharing, minions, rewards, and special abilities
• Configurable levels, stats, moves, held items, drops, capture rules, and battle behavior
• Data-driven JSON profiles for easy addon development
• Integration hooks for other Minecraft mods

Entity Battle API is designed as a foundation for mod authors who want to turn their own creatures, bosses, and NPCs into Cobblemon-compatible battle entities without recreating models, animations, or the battle system from scratch.

Requires Cobblemon.
