Description
Entity Swap
Same world. New faces.
Entity Swap is a client-side Fabric mod that changes how entities look on your screen without changing what they actually are.
Turn every pig into a creeper, replace all players with an Enderman, or use any official Java Edition player skin. The server, hitboxes, AI, sounds, health, drops, and interactions stay unchanged.
Features
- Replace any entity type with a different mob appearance.
- Choose from the full mob catalog available in your Minecraft version.
- Replace one player or every player, including your own third-person model.
- Use any official Java Edition username as a player-skin appearance.
- The skin owner does not need to be online on the server.
- Search mobs and players by name.
- Show or hide held items for swapped players.
- Restore one entity type, one player, or reset every swap at once.
- Rules are saved separately for every world and server.
- The menu opens with J by default; change the keybind in Minecraft controls.
Visual only
Entity Swap never changes the real entity.
A pig that looks like a creeper still has a pig hitbox, pig sounds, pig behavior, and pig interactions. Other players do not need the mod and will not see your swaps.
Notes
- First-person hands remain unchanged.
- Spectator players keep their normal spectator rendering.
- Player capes are not transferred with downloaded skins.
- Large models may not match the original entity’s hitbox. Use
F3 + Bto see the real hitbox.
