Entity Walls
Introduction
Entity Walls is a mod that adds base defense towers and faction-specific buildings to Hundred Years War (HYW), and designs HYW faction raids based on the wealth mechanic from RimWorld. Similar to Age of Empires, you consume resources from your inventory to build defense towers, barracks, tech buildings, and traps. You can also use barracks to produce soldiers, and buildings have multiple unique upgrade abilities used to defend your base. It does not force a dependency on the HYW mod, but without it you will lose a lot of functionality (if you only want to experience the defense towers).https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1punn6JEJy
Main Content in Current Version
Defense Towers: The human faction includes arrow towers, cannon towers, musket towers, and heavy artillery. The undead faction has ice towers and plague spitters. The wood elf faction has tree forts. Different buildings have different abilities and can be upgraded into specialized branches.
Barracks: Divided by faction, including the wood elf tree fort, the undead graves, bone camps, and bone towers, as well as the human infantry barracks and archery range.
Tech Buildings:
-
Blacksmith: Mainly provides attribute upgrades.
-
Altar: The main undead building. Can cast active and passive abilities. Its main abilities are recycling fallen soldiers and creating hordes of corpses.
All building types have upgrade options. Maxing them out unlocks special abilities.
Traps: Includes landmines and cheval de frise (barricades).
Raid System: Inspired by RimWorld, the number of raiders spawned is determined by the player's wealth.
Controls: Open the RTS view in Hundred Years War and enter Build Mode (press B). The build menu will appear on the right side. Select a Siege Engineer, press T and right-click on a foundation to have them participate in construction. Some soldiers can be garrisoned in corresponding defense towers, such as archers, musketeers, and siege engineers. You can also hold a wall-breaker hammer, sneak and right-click to open the GUI, then right-click to build manually.Using the telescope from this mod, press O while aiming at any container to bind it as a resource box. Construction will only draw resources from this bound box.
Integration with Hundred Years War
This mod can be used standalone. If Hundred Years War (HYW) is installed, it unlocks more integrated content, such as faction-specific buildings, tech, and raid gameplay. It is a more complete experience with it, but it also runs normally without it. Note: This mod is still under development. Missing icons and sound effects are normal for now.
