Description

A compatibility bridge between Epic Fight and Scorched Guns.

This is an unofficial update and rework of the original Epic Scorch mod. It integrates firearms with Epic Fight: third-person animations via Epic Fight, first-person Scorched Guns gunplay, stamina consumption based on recoil/attachments, and tactical movement restrictions (aim/reload limits while sprinting, jumping, or dodging).

Version Status

  • Forge 1.20.1: Runs quite well and is solid for regular playthroughs (used for months and fully playable, though minor bugs may still exist).
  • NeoForge 1.21.1: Has not been tested extensively yet. Please report any bugs or crashes you encounter.

Known Issues (Forge 1.20.1)

Note: The following issues are already resolved in 1.21.1 and will be backported to 1.20.1 in the coming days:

  • Slight delay when stopping aiming, and a minor camera stutter when aiming.
  • Animations playing too fast.
  • Integrate gun melee attacks with Epic Fight.

Notes

  • Highly recommended to keep Filter Animations set to OFF in Epic Fight's config.
  • Stamina usage, movement restrictions, and combat balancing options can be adjusted or toggled in the configuration file.
