About

Description

Every 5 Minutes is a gamemode I created, though I'm certainly not the first to come up with the concept. The mode is simple: Every five minutes a special event will happen, and your goal is to try to beat the game (or whatever other goal you have in mind) with these events happening.

You can choose between multiple different challenges, change the time interval to be something other than 5 minutes, and pause/resume the game incase something comes up mid-challenge.

Want to play with your friends? I recommend trying World Host or e4mc to allow your friends to connect to your world. if you REALLY insist, You can also use essential, but it requires connecting players to have the mod too. undefinedI really don't recommend doing that unless your other options aren't working.

HOW TO START:

Type /FiveMinutes to open the GUI. There you can select the challenge, change how often it activates, and start/stop/pause/resume the gamemode.

Here are obsolete commands for older versions of the mod (before 1.1.2) that lack the gui:

/e5m start - Start the gamemode
/e5m pause - Pause the gamemode
/e5m resume - Resume the gamemode
/e5m stop - Stop the gamemode

/e5m interval <#> - changes how often a challenge activates (5 minutes by default)

/e5m challenge - changes which challenge will be activated

CHALLENGES

  • All Entities Teleport To a Player
  • The Tick Rate Increases
  • All Players Get Random Effects
  • Random Mobs Swarm The Players
  • All Players Lose Max Health
  • Every Mob Duplicates

PLANNED FEATURES:

  • An optional UI that shows how long until the next event gets activated
  • An option to activate multiple challenges at once
  • Challenge specific settings

CONTENT CREATION:

I allow and encourage anyone to make content using this mod. I only request you leave a link to the mod in the description. Also, please @ me in the description (I'm @VioletUnderscore) so I can be notified. I would love to watch what you do with my mod!
