Adds different types of evidence blocks such as blood pools or footprints to help identify the players behind a crime. Great for a murder mystery or if you just want to figure out who died where.

This mod currently adds two types of evidence blocks and many tools to get rid of them or to investigate them.

The Blood Pool is left behind when a player or a villager dies (configurable with a gamerule).

The Footprint is left behind, when a player kills another player or a villager (if villager gamerule is also set to true).

You can get rid of any evidence using a Broom or a Brush. (It takes 256 clicks, which is about 50 seconds when holding your mouse down, but can be sped up by clicking very fast.)

  • Brooms are easier to craft and have more durability, but they won't let you identify whose blood or footprint you are removing.
  • Brushes have less durability, but using one gives you a Footprint Sample or a Blood Sample depending on the type of evidence. However the Brush is also consumed in the process.
  • The Sample you get depends on who the evidence belonged to, so you will be able to tell whose blood or footprint you brushed up. You can also tell if the Sample is from a Villager or a Player.

There are also two other unique items in the mod, the Disinfectant Spray and the Fake Blood.

  • The Disinfectant Spray makes it impossible to distinguish a person from an evidence making for a quicker way to remove clues hinting at someone while still leaving the evidence behind. If someone then Brushes that evidence, they will get an Unidentifiable Sample.
  • The Fake Blood is pretty self-explanatory. It allows to quickly create a real looking Blood Pool to distract someone. Brushing a Fake Blood Pool will give you a Fake Blood Sample.
