Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

About
Description
Adds a new set of trades for things related to Fireworks and Explosions - using new Villager Trade datapack features added in 26.1. Fully server-side, no installation on the client required.
IMPORTANT:
Due to limitations of this Vanilla method this is not a true brand new profession with its own block and mechanics. What it does is replace Vanilla profession trades with those ones, but only under certain conditions. If you dont do it correctly you wont get every trade!
HOW TO ACCESS THE TRADES:
Rename a Villager to "evp_pyro" using a Name Tag, then make them become Cleric by claiming a Brewing Stand block. It is important you do it in that order, otherwise Level 1 trades wont be replaced. Existing trades wont be modified!
List of trades
Level 1:
- Emerald -> Gunpowder
- Fire Charge -> Emerald
Level 2:
- Diamond -> Emerald
- Emerald -> Firework Star (composition depends on Villager biome type)
Level 3:
- Emerald -> Paper
- Feather -> Emerald
Level 4:
- Emerald -> Flint and Steel (Unbreaking II)
- Glowstone Dust -> Emerald
- Gold Nugget -> Emerald
Level 5:
- Emerald -> TNT
OPTIONAL:
Mod version has Assets bundled in, but datapack version is barebones.
By default, it will keep the Vanilla Cleric texture and English name. You can use this optional resourcepack to make Pyrotechnicians visually unique and have their name translated to a supported language (see resourcepack page for a list): EVP Assets - Pyrotechnician (Requires ETF)

UPDATES
Unfortunately when updating any changes to the existing trades wont be applied. That means if trades are changed in any way you will need to get a new villager to see them.
If you dont want to kill your villagers, there are handy commands to reset them, as below:
UNINSTALLING
If you wish to uninstall the datapack, run this command (operator priveleges required):
/function evp_pyro:uninstall
It will reset every loaded Pyrotechnician to its original state.
Otherwise, you can run this command for a global uninstallation:
/function evp:uninstall
It will reset every loaded EVP series villager to its original state.
There is also an admin-only debug command that fully resets nearest Pyrotechnician villager:
/function evp_pyro:reset_nearest
