Overview

They're still there. You just can't see them.
You and your friends log in together, spread out to gather resources, call out to each other in voice chat—but when you turn around, no one's there.
Footsteps echo from the cave behind you. A pickaxe breaks stone somewhere to your left. Whispers, just at the edge of hearing…
They're close. You know they are.
Why can't you see them?
This is not a mod about monsters.
This is a mod about trust.
When no one is visible, every sound becomes a question:
Was that really my friend?
Then one day, you glimpse a figure standing at the tree line—a perfect copy of your friend's skin, staring at you. It vanishes when you approach.
Later, you hear your friend's voice whisper your name from behind a wall. You run around to find no one.
The server starts spawning them—ghosts that wear your friends' faces, mimic their voices, and hunt you.
They blow out torches. They appear in doorways. They speak with voices stolen from your friends' microphones.
And when stress finally overwhelms you, the fog thickens, the air grows heavy, and you start seeing things that aren't there.
Or are they?
What waits for you
- Social invisibility by default – players are completely invisible to each other. Only sound gives them away. You'll learn to trust your ears—and question them.
- Dynamic stress system – darkness, isolation, and eerie encounters build "stress." High stress warps your vision, thickens the fog, and triggers psychological whispers.
- Mimic ghosts – entities that copy other players' skins, names, and even voice snippets (with Simple Voice Chat). They stalk you, extinguish light, and blur the line between friend and foe.
- Temporary visibility – only under rare conditions (like standing close together during daytime) do players briefly become visible. In those seconds, what will you do?
Critical Info
- Integrates with Simple Voice Chat – ghosts can play back recorded voice snippets of the players they mimic (required on both sides).
- Actively developed. Report bugs on GitHub (please don't report intended gameplay features as bugs). Suggestions welcome!
This mod fundamentally changes how you play with friends.
No nametags, no skins, no collision. Just sound, suspicion, and the creeping certainty that you're not alone.
Are you sure that voice was your friend?
