The Deep Dark

Welcome to the Expanded Sculk Mod, a vanilla+ experience adding on the newly implemented deep dark and warden. In this mod you'll find exploration, new items and, most importantly, the deep dark dimension. Venture yourself into the unknown lands of the Deep Dark to see if you can overtake the warden's corruption. Best of luck and have fun!

Additions:

The Deep Dark dimension

in the deep dark dimension you will find the warden outpost. a structure containing valuable loot like:

Enchanted Golden Apples

Echo Shards

Disk Fragments

Diamonds

Spawner Blocks

And much more

All of the loot in the Warden Outposts will be inside vases just break these vases and you will receive some of these items

There are 2 types of vases: The regular Vase and the Corrupted Vase. The corrupted vase contains better loot but is also far more dangerous to access them

This mod also adds a new weapons and armor tier: the corrupted armor

In addition to being much stronger than Netherite it also nullifies the effects of the darkness effect and blindness effect.

To get these tools and armor you'll need the corrupted ingot which you can craft with 1 netherite ingot and 2 echo shards or you can also find them very rarely in the warden outposts

This mod also adds a new weapon. The Sonic Boom Staff. This weapon when right clicked will spawn a bomb of a sonic booms that will kill anything around you. This weapon can be found very rarely in the warden outposts due to it being very strong.

You'll probably will be asking yourself: Well then how am I going to go to the Deep Dark Dimension if I'm going to be constantly dying from all the wardens and I got the solution for you: The Warden Destroyer enchantment. This is a new enchantment that can go up to level 5 and can only be applied to your corrupted sword. You can find these books in dungeon chests like: Dungeons, Desert Temples, Ancient Cities or by trading with villagers. Remember: this enchantment CAN'T be applied to iron, diamond or netherite. It can only be applied in a corrupted sword. The higher the enchant goes, the easier it is to kill a warden. Every additional level will deal an extra +25 damage per hit to a warden. Meaning that level 1 will deal an extra 25 damage to a warden, level 2 +50, level 3 +75, level 4 +100 and level 5 +125 damage per hit

Quality of Life items:

Warden Detector: You'll find these inside the warden outposts and when right clicked they will apply glowing to all of the nearby wardens for ease of avoidance

Corrupted Apple: when eaten it will provide speed 3 and darkness. The speed is meant for outrunning the warden with ease

Finally to access the dimension all you need to do is go to an ancient city, craft the deep activator (1 flint and steel and 2 echo shards). and right click the center structure made of reinforced deepslate with the Deep Activator. Remember to remove all the surrounding sculk of the portal or it won't work.
