Description

Server-side only. Makes Straw Beds explode when right-clicked, with configurable dimensions, fire, power, and block list. A stackable blast tool for Nether mining.

Minecraft 26.3 added the Straw Bed. Unlike regular beds, Straw Beds can be stacked to 16, but they do not explode when used in the Nether. This mod changes that.

With this mod, you can right-click a Straw Bed in nether to trigger an explosion, turning it into a stackable blast tool. For players who enjoy bed mining or blast mining in the Nether, this gives you a much more inventory-friendly option.

Configurations

explodable_blocks

  • A list of block IDs that explode when right-clicked.
  • Example: ["minecraft:straw_bed"].
  • If vanilla beds are included, it overrides the vanilla bed interaction logic in other dimensions.

ignite_nearby_blocks

  • Whether the explosion should set nearby blocks on fire.

explode_in_all_non_overworld_dimensions

  • true: explosions can trigger in all non-Overworld dimensions.
  • false: explosions only trigger in the Nether.

explosion_power

  • The explosion power.
  • Default: 5.0, the power of vanilla bed explosion.
