Description
Fair Parcel
Split a stack of torches, food, arrows, or other supplies between nearby teammates, with their permission. No ground-item scramble and no shared-inventory dependency.
Hold a stack in your main hand and run /fairparcel offer Alice,Bob. Both players receive an invitation. Each runs /fairparcel accept YourName, then you run /fairparcel commit.
The split is even among the named recipients; you keep the remainder. A stack of 17 shared with two teammates gives them 8 each and leaves you 1.
Built for deliberate sharing
- Up to eight explicitly named recipients within 16 blocks in the same dimension.
- Every recipient must accept. They can refuse even after accepting, until the sender commits.
- Preview and invitations never move items.
- No dropped leftovers: if anyone lacks space at commit, the entire offer is cancelled.
- Rechecks online status, player session, distance, living state, closed containers, and your exact held stack before transferring.
- Names, enchantments, damage, and other item data are preserved.
- Offers expire after 60 seconds; invitation cooldowns limit chat spam.
Use /fairparcel help for commands, or /fairparcel status to see your invitations. Offers disappear on restart. No commands access another player's inventory contents for display.
Installation and limits
Install on the server. Clients do not need Fair Parcel. Separate downloads are provided for Forge 1.20.1, NeoForge 1.21.1, and NeoForge 26.3; use the matching loader and game version.
Recipients need space in their normal 36-slot inventory. All players must be alive, non-spectating, and have container screens closed. No offline delivery, currency, remote transfer, shared inventory, or item recreation. Other mods that replace player inventories or intercept direct inventory writes have not been certified compatible.
New beta release; bugs may remain. Automated allocation and disposable-server inventory/command checks are documented in the release changelog. Graphical multi-client network gameplay has not been verified in this cloud environment. Back up important worlds.
