Description
[FC] Squad Roles brings squad-shooter loadouts to Minecraft. Instead of scavenging for gear, players choose a role from a menu and spawn with the kit that role is meant to have.
For players
Pick your role from a menu. One keybind opens a card grid of every kit your team has, with icons, role limits and a preview of exactly what you'll receive before you commit. Variants. A single role can offer several loadouts — an Anti-Tank kit might have a Launcher and a Mines variant, each with its own cap. Gear that comes back. Items marked to refresh are topped back up on respawn, so you don't re-equip after every death. See your squad at a glance. Teammates carry their role's icon on their nameplate, positioned wherever you prefer — before the name, after it, above it, or off entirely.
For server owners
Kits are per-team. Each scoreboard team gets its own folder of kits. Players only ever see, and can only ever take, their own team's. Team colours. Set a colour per team and the whole interface adopts it — cards, icons, highlights, nameplate markers. One white icon texture serves every team and recolours automatically. Role limits. Cap a kit at three players, or a specific variant at one. Full roles are visibly unavailable rather than failing on click. Groups. Sort kits into sections — Standard, Specialist — with your own ordering rather than alphabetical. Controlled kit changes. Optionally require a scoreboard tag to pick a kit, so players can only switch where you allow it — in spawn, between rounds — instead of mid-firefight. Ops bypass it. Edit everything in-game. Operators get an editor built into the menu: create kits, set items from your inventory or an item browser, choose icons, arrange groups, configure teams, all without touching a file or restarting. Changes apply to everyone immediately. Player management. See who's holding which kit and free a slot from an AFK player who's sitting on a limited role.
