Description

FFA — Free-For-All

Every mob fights every other mob. And the player. And you start with half a heart.

FFA turns Minecraft into a brutal, last-one-standing battle royale. The instant the world loads, every creature becomes a combatant — zombies hunt skeletons, pillagers fight evokers, frogs lunge at cows, and everything wants you dead. There's no peace, no loot, and no easy healing. The only way to survive is to kill, grow stronger, and outlast a world that's actively trying to end you.

⚔️ Total war

  • All mobs fight all mobs — different species (and even normally-allied factions like illagers) hunt each other and the player. Same-species mobs leave each other alone.
  • Smart, relentless AI — mobs target the enemy they can actually finish off, leap and pounce to close distance, gang up on attackers, avoid fire and lava, and notice you from far away.
  • Even brain-driven mobs join in — frogs, axolotls, goats and friends are hand-driven to hunt, so nothing sits out the brawl.

📈 Kill to grow stronger

  • Every kill fully heals you and makes you permanently tougher — more health and damage, with diminishing returns.
  • No natural regeneration — you only heal by killing. Stop fighting and you stay hurt.
  • Champions — any mob that racks up 5 kills becomes a glowing, named mini-boss with Speed and Strength, tracked by a boss bar and on the killstreak leaderboard. Slay one for a big reward.

💀 Fragile and unforgiving

  • Players spawn with just 2 HP (one heart) and 1.0 damage. Death resets your killstreak and your power — every run starts from scratch.
  • No loot anywhere — chests, fishing, blocks and mobs drop nothing. This is a pure combat arena.
  • Explosions don't grief, and broken/placed blocks revert after 20 seconds — the world heals itself, so there's nowhere to turtle up.
  • Permanent night vision so you can see the chaos coming.

🏆 Win the Free-For-All

It's a race to a 1000 killstreak:

  • Reach it first and you win — the FFA ends and the world reverts to normal survival.
  • But if a mob hits the goal first, it takes the crown and everyone loses — now you can only win by slaying that mob and then hitting 1000.

🔧 Fully configurable

Tune everything in ffa-common.toml — champion threshold, growth caps, difficulty scaling, the win streak, starting health, PvP, and all the world rules. Crank the difficulty or soften the start to taste.
