Description
Better Darkness transforms Minecraft's lighting into a more immersive and atmospheric experience. By default, nights in vanilla Minecraft are bright enough to see almost everything — Better Darkness fixes that.
Nights become genuinely dark. Caves become threatening without a light source. The Nether and the End feel more oppressive in unlit areas.
Features: Dynamic darkening by light level · Fully configurable 0–100 scale · darknessLevel gamerule · Respects manual brightness changes · Works in all dimensions
Usage: /gamerule darknessLevel 80 (0 = off, 100 = pitch black)
