About
Description
Stop tearing through every chest. Hover an item, press one key, and FindMe shows you exactly which nearby container holds it — or pulls it straight into your inventory.
Hover any item and press a key to search every inventory around you
Glowing particles float above every chest, barrel, or storage block holding it
Open a container and the matching slots are highlighted in colour
Pull a single item — or a whole stack — from nearby storage without walking over
Works with vanilla containers and most modded storage (drawers, crates, and more)
Configurable search radius, highlight colours, and tracking time
Server-side search and pull, so it works in singleplayer and multiplayer
NeoForge and Fabric, for Minecraft 26.2
Default keys (rebindable in Options > Controls > "Find Me"):
Y — Search nearby inventories
Numpad 0 — Pull 1 item • Numpad 1 — Pull 1 stack
❓ FAQ
Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes. Searching and pulling are handled by the server, so it works on dedicated servers and LAN.
Do I need anything else?
Yes — Architectury API.
Can I change the keys, colours, or search range?
Keys are in Options > Controls. Everything else (radius, highlight colours, tracking time) is in config/findme.json.
Does it work with modded storage?
Most modded containers that expose a standard item handler work out of the box.
Can I add this to my modpack?
Yes.
