# Finite and Classics

**Vanilla-style firearms with finite ammo** — real magazines, real reloading, attachments, gun packs, and optional maid support.

Finite and Classics is built on **Bren Reforged by Ioan4ik**, itself the Forge port of **Bren by Sniffiandros!** (MIT). It keeps Bren's vanilla-friendly art style and hand-feel, then layers a **finite-ammo** system on top: guns hold real magazines, magazines hold real bullets, and when you run dry you actually have to reload.

Every gun is a normal Minecraft item: craft it, carry it, and it works like the rest of your gear.

## Ammo and reloading

No infinite magazines here. Guns are fed from **magazines**, and magazines are fed from **bullets**.

- **Magazines** — Magazines and Short Magazines, loaded round by round, then inserted into the gun
- **Ammo types** — Bullets, Shells, Birdshot, Heavy Bullet, Dragon's Breath
- **Reload helpers** — Revolver Speedloader, Auto Loader, AutoLoader Contraption
- **Infinite Ammo Bag** — for players who would rather not manage ammo at all

## Attachments and gun packs

Attachments change how a gun behaves, not just how it looks:

Gun packs let you drop in additional firearms without touching the base mod.

## Combat details

- **Headshots** deal bonus damage, with their own hit effect
- **Bullet holes** are left on the blocks you shoot
- **Tracers** show the flight path of your rounds
- **Penetration** — some rounds punch through targets and keep going
- **Recoil and spread** differ per gun and per ammo type

## Villagers and progression

An **Arms Dealer** villager and the **Gunsmith** workstation bring gun crafting into normal village play — trade for parts, set up a workshop, and work your way up to netherite.

## Maid support (optional)

If **Touhou Little Maid** is installed, maids can be equipped with guns. They pick their own targets, keep their distance, reload themselves, and fight alongside you. Purely optional — the mod runs fine without it.

## Yes Steve Model support (optional)

If **Yes Steve Model** is installed, gun animations are driven through it. Also purely optional.
