Flutterling Origin

This mod adds a new mothlike fairy origin to the Origins mod. It is compatible with the Fabric version of the mod. Requires Origins, Extra Origins, and Pehkui to work, as well as the Fabric Loader and Fabric API.

Flutterling

Flutterlings are tiny, moth-like fae creatures that love living in the hollows of trees. While they are weak and fragile, they can easily climb or fly out of danger when faced with it.

Weak Wings

-While you can glide like the best of them, you can only fly with some effort, fluttering to slowly gain altitude while gliding

Lightweight

-Due to your light body, you don't take fall damage.

Nimble

-You are very small, and are thus immune to velocity and thorns-based damage

Small Appetite

-You exhaust slower than others, requiring you to eat less.

Climbing

-You are able to climb any surface as if it were a ladder

Tiny Fae

-You are tiny due to being a magical moth-like creature. You have only 5 hearts and less reach, and are only half a block tall.

Nocturnal

-You are naturally nocturnal, and find yourself weaker when in the extreme brightness of sunlight. On the other hand, your adaptation to darkness means that you can see clearly even in pitch black.

Armor Difficulties

-You are unable to wear heavy armor, due to being so small.

Iron Allergy

-You cannot wear iron armor because your fae nature is allergic to it.

Lantern Weakness

-The heat of lantern light makes the iron in the lantern emanate out from it, causing you to feel weak when near them.

  Wing texture from 1.1.0 onward is the Blue Morpho Butterfly 32x texture by Chimedragon.

  This origin was originally inspired by the Inchling origin from Extra Origins, and the Mothling origin by Steboot.
