Description

Flying Carpet

(Fabric API - 26.3 snapshot release)

flying carpet

Turn an ordinary cushion into a magical flying carpet you can ride through the skies.

Combine three matching-colored cushions with a few extra ingredients, and you'll get a shimmering, enchanted carpet in that same color. Place it down, hop on with a right-click, and off you go!

It flies just like a Happy Ghast, but faster. Steer by looking where you want to go, and it gracefully banks and turns to follow your gaze.

When you want to get off, crouch once and it'll ask you to confirm. Crouch again and you'll hop off.
Land somewhere safe and the carpet politely waits for you to ride again.

But bail out in mid-air and the magic gives out! The carpet drops back down as a plain cushion, and so do you. Break it while it's out and it also reverts to an ordinary cushion, so you'll need to re-craft it to take flight again.

It comes in all 16 colors, and a simple in-game settings menu lets you tweak how fast it flies, how forgiving the landing check is, and even what it takes to craft one.
