Description
Food Diversity
Food Diversity is a lightweight Minecraft mod that encourages players to eat a wider variety of foods instead of relying on the same few meals throughout their entire playthrough.
The mod rewards you for discovering and eating different foods. Every 10 unique foods you eat, you gain +2 permanent maximum health (1 heart). The more diverse your diet becomes, the stronger your character gets.
🌱 How It Works
- 🍎 Eat different foods to increase your food diversity.
- 📊 Every 10 unique foods eaten grants a health reward.
- ❤️ Each reward gives you +2 maximum health.
- 🔄 Previously eaten foods are not counted again.
- 🌾 Foods from other mods can also be counted.
- ⚙️ The system can be configured to fit your modpack.
The goal is simple: try new foods instead of eating the same thing over and over again.
✨ Features
- Food diversity progression – your diet directly contributes to your progression.
- +2 maximum health every 10 unique foods – rewarding exploration of Minecraft's food system.
- Mod compatibility – foods from other mods can be included.
- Configurable – adjust the number of foods required for a reward, health gained, maximum bonus health, and more.
- Lightweight – designed to add a simple gameplay mechanic without unnecessary complexity.
- Works naturally with survival gameplay – no new machines, items, or complicated systems are required.
🍽️ Why Food Diversity?
In vanilla Minecraft, it is easy to find one reliable food source and use it for the entire game. Food Diversity gives you a reason to explore the rest of Minecraft's food system.
Discover new foods, expand your diet, and become stronger.
