Im pretty sure that everybody knows what the Section Symbol(§) does in minecraft, but a while ago minecraft removed it as a typable/pastable character in chat, signs and books. This made me very sad since it was such a cool feature to just be able to type § then a letter/number and have my text look completely different. so therefore, I made a mod to add it back.
Flaws
This Character is still not typable on signs. This will not be fixed for two reasons. The First reason is that i intend for this mod to be client side only, and changing the data of a block is handled on the server side. The second reason is that i feel like it isnt as beneficial on signs since you can just use dyes on them anyway.
In the book and quill, i wanted the symbol(s) to be visible until you typed something after them, which worked, the only problem is that every new section takes on the formatting of the previous one(s) which means that if the previous one was §k(obfuscate) then you wouldnt be able to see the next section. Im currently working on making it so that the each section will take on its own look combined with the previous ones.
